Throwback to our lunch at Emily Taylor, Fremantle. First time here and we tried three of their dishes (four dishes for aud74; 1/2 roast duck counts as two dishes) and ordered two serves of the famous dumplings. Menu on next few pics. Dish of the day was the charred masterstock beef cheek and super delicious sambal matah (aud28 or four dishes for aud74; 1/2 roast duck counts as two dishes). Another friend really enjoyed the barramundi. Finally tried the famous lobster & Manjimup truffle dumplings - felt the skin was quite thick (might be an off day?) and I didn’t really understand the hype surrounding these dumplings. Roast duck was unfortunately quite disappointing as the skin was soft and wasn’t crispy at all. Nice place to catch up with friends over drinks and lovely alfresco area. Good to have finally ticked this off the list. #EmilyTaylor #Fremantle #Freo #ModernAsian #BeefCheek #SambalMatah #Dumplings #Barramundi #RoastDuck #Truffle #Lobster #PerthFoodReview #PFR_EmilyTaylor (at Emily Taylor Fremantle) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZ3HuTbPhuh/?utm_medium=tumblr
