Currently reading a biography of "Lawrence of Arabia"-producer Sam Spiegel. Didn't know he lived for a while in Palestine in the 1920s, doing odd jobs before embarking on his career in film in Berlin in 1930. He "forgot" to return Emir Abdullah's (yes, Prince Feisal's brother's) mercedes after a visit to Transjordan. I wonder whether he thought about the incident when he met Abdullah's grandson King Hussein during the filming of LoA many years later in Jordan.
