Behold, my second child! This is Aubern the Eggplant Goblin. He/They are best friends with Mortimer, my skrunkly lil guy. When the two of them aren't hanging out, Aubern likes to hide in gardens and local farmer's markets to snag tasty fruits and veggies. He is not a very good sneak as everyone notices the rather too large, moving eggplant, but most pretend to not see them as to not discourage him.
Got mouths drawn for Mortimer. Still need to draw them for Aubern. Once I do that I plan on figuring simple voice syncing out, so they can talk/do lil skits. Once I'm happy with a convo I'll start looking into props and getting limbs moving.

I gotta fix the placement of one frame and address the outline near the left arm on another, but pretty happy with the lil 3 frame loop I have here, considering its my first crack at animation. Eyes and mouth are next, then Im gonna come up with a second character and they can have a lil convo or make a quick joke or something.
This skrunkly lil beast is a doodle I have been doing since at least middle school.
Nothing better than a six hour render time 😐 love not being able to use my computer for that time 🙃
