Bio: Emma Lee is in all senses of the word, average. At least, according to her. If you ask her friends, they’ll tell you otherwise. Emma stands up for what she believes in and will not be silenced by anyone. It’s against her nature to sit down and take things lightly. But, because of her looks, Emma isn’t taken seriously. She is just another pretty face, meant to be gawked at and ogled. At school, Emma is always the first to be asked to prom, the first to be asked to pair up with, the first to be chosen for the dodge ball game. While she doesn’t hate being liked, she hates not knowing who is really her friend and who isn’t. Who just gravitates to her because of her beauty, and who actually thinks she has some substance behind her. 

Emma is a famous blogger, doing makeup tutorials online. Yet another way to have people gawking at her. What she doesn’t talk about is the hate she gets online. She smiles and pretend it doesn’t happen. What she really wants more than anything is to go on an adventure. Put her hair up, a little less eye shadow and some sweat pants. She wants to see what the world has to offer. To travel just to enjoy the scenery and not have to do some kind of work. To be looked at by someone who thinks she’s beautiful, not for her looks but her personality. 

But beware, Emma though sweet, can be a bit of a fire cracker.

Squeezing his eyes shut he moaned softly. If only he hadn’t messed with the timeline. She’d have been better off. She would have been alive. Guilt tabbed him in the heart. If they were still in the other timeline the kids wouldn’t exist. Could he really face not knowing them? Would Emma want him to change things back if he could? As difficult as the pregnancies had been, she’d been so happy.

Once Logan and Azalea left, he sat beside Emma watching her chest move with each shallow breath she took. He didn’t notice as the door opened, and his two young children approached them. Jumping when his son’s hand touched his knee.

Gabriel watched as Logan and Azalea checked on Emma. He knew by their faces she wasn’t getting better. Emma was dying even he could see that by here silent, vacant eyes and skeletal frame. Her breathing was an agonizing ordeal as she fought for one more breath.

Azalea turned to look at her brother “when was the last time she was able to eat anything?”

Thinking back, sighing “a week or more.” His eyes saw what they saw “she’s dying isn’t she?”

“I’m sorry” she stood putting a gentle hand on his shoulder “there isn’t anything else we can do but make her as comfortable as possible.”

“Daddy will mommy be okay” he asked.

Looking in his son’s eyes, so like his mothers,  he silently shook his head. A single tear rolled down his cheek unchecked. “I’m sorry” taking a deep breath that did little to lift the weight of guilt pressing on his chest. “Your mommy isn’t going to get any better.”

“Is she going to die” he whispered, his eyes wide and fearful. He’d seen the body of the man who used to live in one of the houses. He knew what death was. Knew what it smelled like. “Will she go to the cemetery too?”

Gabriel pressed the cool damp cloth to Emma’s forehead. She murmured in her sleep, head twitching restlessly in her sleep.

Landon slipped into the room “how is she?”

Shaking his head, he leaned into his brother “I’m going to lose her all over again.”

Landon gave him a confused look “don’t give up hope.” He gave his brother a hug.

Nodding Gabriel sighed “can you sit with her? I need to take the kids up to run off some energy.”

“Sure” he agreed. “It’s windy but the air is good.”

Hmm three sets of eyes. I’m going to try to come up with three different behind the scenes for my stories. 

Adam was never supposed to have fallen in love with Clare the way he had. He was supposed to be heartbroken over losing his wife Beverly and only married Clare because he was forced into it by the Elders. Instead it turned into this epic love story where he finally found someone who he could be who he was and he didn’t have to hide a part of himself from them in order to keep them safe. Clare was his match. His equal. There are many more behind the scene things that happened with the Van Winkle Legacy so if you want more all you have to do is ask lol

Gabriel and Emma’s relationship was supposed to be this love conquers all type story but instead we’re left with two pretty broken people. Usually my sims once I pair them with someone stay together no matter what but we’ll see. With the changes Gabriel did in the past we’ll see if he and Emma do with stand the test of time or if they were meant to never be together. Not So Ordinary Life has had many changes and revamps so if you want more just ask.

The third and last behind the scenes is a bit of a spoiler and will be under the cut in case you don’t want to see it. 

This is probably a bit of a spoiler but in the beginning I was going to have Eli be a bit of a spoiled brat who didn’t like his younger sister. I was going to have them squabble and compete for their parents attention. Instead you’ll see them become each other’s best friends. Maybe we’ll even seem them like this since I couldn’t wait to see what they looked like all grown up.
