We have finished the game!
There were a lot of tears. A lot. Like, any time there was a cutscene, she was grabbing my hand because she was so nervous lol
She choose the destroy ending, because as mom put it, 'I haven't spent three months of my life to have Emma die.' She rejected the control ending immediately, like I thought she would. We talked about Synthesis, but in the end, her orders were to destroy the Reapers
And let me tell you, she was not happy about the ending. She was basically like' these choices suck' and she was very annoyed there was no reunion with her crew at the end
Which leads me to an ask. She has requested post-game fic. Specifically Shakarian, and specifically ones that aren't gloom and doom, but optimistic

I asked if she would be interested in playing the game again at some point, and she said absolutely. She already knows she wants to play a male Shepard so she can romance Jack. She really likes Jack.
So there you go! Our Mass Effect journey is over for now. Next up is Clair Obscur. However, I have a feeling she's not going to jive with it (her favorite thing is to create characters) so I'm trying to decide what we'll play if that doesn't work out. We shall see!
