A Miss Peregrine movie theory my brother came up with

I showed him the movie (which I don't like but I also don't not like) and he came up with ridiculous fan theory about the end.

So in the end, Jacob goes through loops to get back to 1943, yeah? And he goes to one from 1942 and joins the navy, right? My brother said to me, "Okay what if he is fighting in WWII with his granda and grandpa dies? So Jake starts freaking out that he'll never be born. Unless..."
