Yes, they are friends with both Eomer and Eowyn, tho she's a tiny bit more close to Eomer, i'd say. They first met when they were kids (she was 12 back then, Eomer just a year older). She kicked his ass in front of his friends tho. That was his first impression: a girl who kicked his royal little ass, and they were together ever since (rascals, i mind you)

I wanted to do a proper chapter with a quick dive into her childhood and how she met Eomer, but I guess i can leave something here as well ahah

Her father is a smith in Edoras (they moved there after some events in their small city) and he started to care for the Eored's swords and armor. Once he asked Flae (it's a short from Flaedwyn) to go to the training field and gather the princes' swords, cause they had to be maintained, and there she stumbled across very cocky young man 😅 Flae kinda humiliated him and his friends with how good he handled the sword.

She didn't know how Eomer and Eowyn looked back there, since they weren't living the centre of the city and the royal and noble kids rarely passed them by

They became very close friends and was causing lots of harmless troubles to the royal guards together (with Eowyn as well)

She wanted to fight alongside Eomer, but alas, the traditions are not easily breaking, so she works for her father's workshop

*Eomer is low-key in love but will never admit it even to himself*

I tried to find some picrews but i guess i lost them (i had them for like 3 years i guess, too many things happened to my poor laptop) 😭 I think i need to fancast someone huh

So for the appearance: She is the most Rohirrim-ish girl you can possibly think of: blond hair, blue eyes, pretty tall (5’9) strong-build, but still her face structure is what other women and man consider elvish, she have a bit more exquisite appearance than most women in Rohan, but still not that finesse as elves. Her blond hair is long and wavy, usually she wears them either flowing or in one thick long braid (depends on what she's currently doing).

Do you make your bed? My bed is very sparse, consisting of a fitted sheet, a top sheet, and a Vera Bradley throw blanket. So, "making my bed" is just pulling the sheet and blanket up so they look somewhat straight. Although half of the time my cats mess up the blankets anyway.

Favorite number? Uh... 9 I guess? Because it's my zodiac sign's number? And cats? And LOTR? I don't really have a favorite.

What's your job? Title examiner.

If you could go back to school, would you? Heck no. I'm too old and tired for tests and writing papers for grades.

Can you parallel park? Maybe... after trying like a dozen times. I'll drive several blocks and look for a parking spot and walk before resorting to parallel parking.

Do you think aliens are real? The universe is too big for us to be the only habitable planet.

Can you drive a manual car? No...? I assume no?

What's your guilty pleasure? Spicy tempura seaweed snacks. And hummus.

Tattoos? I would like to get a couple someday, but right now I don't have any.

Favorite color? Black. I can't match colors to save my life and black goes with everything.

Do you like puzzles? They're okay.

Any phobias? I don't remember what it's called (I did Google it once and apparently it's only a phobia found in children which makes me feel GREAT about myself), but I still freeze up whenever someone in a mascot costume is near me. I never had a traumatic experience or anything (that I can recall, unless I did a great job of repressing it), but I've just always been freaked out by them. I was the only kid who wouldn't go up to the guy in the Chuck E. Cheese costume.

Favorite childhood sport? I was in dance and gymnastics when I was a kid, but I never liked sports or PE in school. Both of my parents were pro athletes and they gave birth to a musician. I do like watching hockey though.

Do you talk to yourself? I'm a writer, of course I talk to myself (and the fictional characters in my head).

2. What's your feel-good movie?

Whenever I'm having a rough day/week and just need a comfort movie, I'll watch one of my favorite Studio Ghibli movies (Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, Whisper of the Heart, The Cat Returns, From Up on Poppy Hill, Ponyo, The Secret World of Arrietty) or I'll rewatch a favorite Hallmark movie (Christmas or not).

14. Favorite feel-good show?

So, I don't really watch very much TV, and I'm not sure if any of the shows that I used to enjoy would be considered "feel-good." I guess maybe Avatar: The Last Airbender might be one show that I could rewatch again, and the anime Trinity Blood is another show that I've rewatched several times (though it's not really a feel-good or comfort show either). A series that I've rewatched once and that I'd like to rewatch again is The Tudors. By the time you get to the 4th season and we're seeing the decline of Henry VIII and we've seen the deaths of several characters, the first episode is called "Moment of Nostalgia" and you really feel that same nostalgia for the 1st season that the characters in the show are feeling. Again, not really a feel-good show and not historically accurate by any means, but I enjoy it.

🍞 I haven't been on a road trip in a very long time, but a couple of my favorite snacks that I like to eat at work are kettle chips (especially bbq or jalapeno flavor) and tempura seaweed snacks (they're ADDICTING)

🌾 I try to garden, but so far I've only been able to grow cucumbers and tomatoes (from vines, not from seed). I've attempted to grow herbs (also from a plant nursery and not from seed), but they always die (although the chives keep coming back). It's not necessarily my favorite plant, but my favorite flower is iris, because they remind me of my grandma. She had a lot of things that were iris-themed. I have some growing in my front yard and so far they've been white, yellow, and two different shades of purple.

☔ A fic I had planned to do but am no longer going to write is a High School AU that was supposed to be the sequel of my Flower Shop AU, but it was about Aragorn/Arwen, Farawyn, and Boromir/Anael's kids in high school. I haven't even started the Flower Shop AU yet, and I already know it's going to be super long, and I already have so many fics I haven't started that there's just not enough room for it (and not nearly enough hours in the day).

Un nouveau départ et une continuation

Il y a longtemps que je veux écrire. Il y a toujours eu des hauts et des bas. Mais lorsque je m’y suis mise, je n’ai jamais pensé au “après”. À ce moment où le livre est fini, publié, d’une manière ou d’une autre et ce qu’il reste à faire.

Me mettre en avant, faire de la publicité, pas vraiment quelque chose où je suis à l’aise.

J’ai déjà crée, et effacé, plusieurs blogs. Celui-ci est juste la suite d’une longue chaine de tentative.

Je vais donc essayer quelque chose de nouveau, me concentrer sur un aspect de mon écriture... 

Dans les prochains post, j’espère pouvoir parler de ce qui va venir pour mon conte, La petite boule de Noël. Mais aussi de ce qui se passe avec le prochain, qui est en cours d’écriture.

I just discovered your blog and I love it! I grew up in Gabon and I had the pleasure to learn the history of Africa before, way before, colonialist arrived. So it is very infuriating when people in the US or in Canada are like 'oh really? There was something before European?'... And don't let your justified anger take the best of you. You have very powerful argument, just don't fall at the level of the idiots. it'll make them win in the end.

And this is why I try and urge people to be invested in information, not what I personally have to say about it. And since I’ve done more than enough “reacting” for now, other than offering my apologies, I’m just going to sit and think about my conduct and how I can hopefully do better in the future.

OCC *I'm just laughing out loud at the 'Shenanigan on the Avenger' Poor Commander and Poor coffee machine... and poor Tygen, I love seeing the guy still with his mug, looking at the Commander trashing everything in her path. it's just too hilarious!!*

(BLESS YOU for noticing! XDD It’s also one of the funniest thing in my mind, because when I read asks, I let the characters react how they want, and Tygan just... he didn’t even try to deal. XDD He just stopped giving a fuck and stayed there, waiting for all the commotion to be over! Even if he knows he’s not gonna get coffee even when this is all done, he just doesn’t have the energy to deal and get back to work. Tygan.exe stopped working. XD)
