Finished a cross stitch kit I’ve been working on since December. Pretty early on I decided to count via vibes and not worry about mistakes, which is why it’s not a circle and there’s some stray purple on the upper right. And when I got bored I added an eyeball. I also didn’t even try to keep the back neat, because what I really needed from this project was the practice of picking something up and working on it, a little bit at a time, until it was done. And I fucking love it.

I made this as a thank you gift for a friend who helped get me through the first couple years of pandemic with my sanity somewhat intact. It’s been a bit since I did anything like this, and I’m so happy at how clean the final result is, despite how long it has been since I had needles in my hands.
Finished the embroidered portion of a dress I am making for my infant daughter. The artwork is [DAEMON], by @3liza, part of her @problemglyphs project. I made a couple modifications for the medium, and also through error, both mine and my computer’s.
I didn't have enough thread to fill the blacks in solid, so I did a rough free handed grid. Thread and fabric were both from my stash, inherited from other people's dead grandmothers.
Made myself a super wide infinity scarf through my super secret method of 1. Buy one yard of wide jersey 2. Fold lengthwise and sew into long tube 3. Sew tube into donut And it's so perfect, it makes such a great snuggly hood. Too bad summer is like... two more months and I can't wear it.
I knitted a baby sweater. The pattern is Flax from tincanknits.com and I added a snake because snakes are gender neutral right? Right.
