Packing out and putting things into place had never been one of Emmely's strongest sides, to put it lightly. Whenever she had to move from one place to another, she just stuffed everything she had into her bag and backpack, and just left everything like that until she needed something. What wasn't in the bag was either on the bedroom floor, under her bed, or in the wash. The only few exceptions where of things she valued highly, or things that really, really had nothing to do in that bag. Heck, even her shoes got thrown on top, and mashed up with everything else.
Emmely fell forward, and crash landed on her bed, face down. She grinned big, and rubbed her face into the bedsheets. No matter how many time she did that, it was always as fun to bounce up and down on the mattress after the fall. She rolled over on her back, and took a deep breath. It was good to see familiar faces again, even people she hardly knew, but still knew of. Only one was missing, and something told Emmely she wouldn't see her in a really long time. She sat up and turned to look out of the window, sighing.
For someone so attached as Emmely, this job with all it's traveling and changes, should be close to impossible. She missed everything she had left behind so much, sometimes enough to bring her to the point of nearly breaking up. Thinking about it, this was probably one of the reasons why she never cared to move in properly. Getting attached to the place aswell as the people wasn't worth it, physically nor emotionally. Emotions, yet another thing Emmely would never quite understand.
She sighed again, and looked back inside again. Nothing was unpacked yet, not even her radio or the toothbrush. She got up, grabbed her bag, and stared down into it. Maybe unpacking once wouldn't be so bad? She walked over to the drawer, and emptied as much as she could into the first drawer, and the moved on to the next drawer until the last curled up sock was out of the bag. Hah, perfect! "Maybe unpackin' ain't tee bad after all!" she said to herself, and threw the bag under her bed.
