So, DABWAHA is on. A contest, nay, a tournament, where only one author can emerge the victor. Trash talking of opponents is encouraged. Bribing of voters is positively rewarded.
Forgive me as I turn over my Tumblr page to feed the monster that is Dabwaha.

I sold another book!
It never gets any less exciting. This one is a departure from my previous books, and erotic, kinda-paranormal/magical style. Not something for my Mum to read. :) I'm hoping any existing fans won't be too shocked.
Have been so thrilled with the absolutely lovely reviews In His Eyes has been receiving over the past few days, including an amazing one that's just gone up on Amazon. I'm sure that's all contributing to why it's now listed as #5 on Amazon's SuperRomance bestseller list!

Office clean-up - the war with myself
Stage one of office clean up, complete. So much paper. Oh goodness me, so much paper.
And part of me is still a little anxious about what's in the 'throw out' pile. Is there any use in keeping the hard copy line edits of my first book? Apart from reminiscing one day: "remember when I typed the wrong rein/reign and the editor had to point it out?" . Yeah, that's fun memories I can live without.
I am, at heart, a hoarder. I feel like I battle every day to overcome this tendency. But it means that every clean-up, everything thrown away, is a struggle. A little war with myself. You don't really need to keep every Christmas card ever. It doesn't prove you have friends. If you die in a bus crash, no one will count them and give you a good mark in the exam of life.
It also means that every clean-up, everything thrown away, is a triumph.
Winning wars is tiring. The clean up can continue tomorrow.
