“Under The L” The photo on the left was shot by my photographer, Andreas Feininger. The photo on the right was a photo I had taken to recreate a similar image to the one Feininger had taken. I achieved a similar look by going to Chicago to take a photo under the train tracks on the busy streets of the city. Obviously, there were very different cars compared to the ones in modern day today. I was still able to achieve the lighting and color of his photo by editing my photo to add a blue tone of the photo I had taken. In the end, my recreation was a success. Even though the cars were different and I wasn’t able to take this photo in New York City were it was originally taken by Feininger, the recreation was very similar.
