“Pavilion”-
My AP photography class had taken a field trip to Downtown Chicago. One of our stops was Millenium Park, which is where I had taken these images. These photographs were taken of different parts of the pavilion at the park. The first image I had taken consists of the red seating and the overhead speakers throughout the pavilion and the lawn. The second mage consists of an interesting structure and features behind the stage of the pavilion. I used these two images to create an overlay photo as part of my assignment. An overlay image is where you place one photograph upon another photograph. I had taken the second image, the structure, and placed it over the first image, the red seats. I used Photoshop to erase some parts of the second image and lowered the opacity of it so viewers are able to still see the first image under the image above it. This resulted in my end product, which is the third and final image. This overlay photo was a success because it captures the different features of the pavilion and makes it interesting to observe.
