Taru is the more serious, quiet twin. He mostly has to keep his team - and especially his brother - in line on missions and in training. He speaks more formally, but is just as protective of his brother and his team as Hato is.

Background
Childhood
The twins lived relatively normally for most of their childhoods and early Shinobi days up until the attack. While they were on a mission as Genin, the village was under attack by the Kyuubi, and their home was destroyed in the carnage, their younger sister and parents along with it.
When the Third Shinobi World War was in full motion, their sensei was killed by an enemy, and their teammate Yasuko Kimura ran away from the village. They vowed never to be separated because of this, as one was all the other had left anymore.
Pre-Shippuden
The two now-Jonins have taken on a team for them both to teach, as the Third Hokage knew that they almost seem like one person and consider themselves as such. The brothers don’t seem to notice the three genins’ shock, Hato often playing pranks on them from the tree branches. Agreeing with Might Gai’s idea of holding his team back by a year, they do the same with Kuria, Ryo, and Akira. Instead, they work on their team’s teamwork skills as well as the abilities given to them by their bloodlines; Kuria’s Kekkei Genkai, Ryo’s medical ninjutsu, and Akira’s memory manipulation jutsu.
Once the Chunin Exams hit, they aren’t seen again until the third part. Both helped to restrain Neji in his fight with Hinata, as well as explain a few things about Kuria and Akira to Naruto and Sakura during their fight.
Shippuden
When Naruto returns, Taru is no where to be found, only a bit of white dye is left in Hato’s hair, and he seems less cheerful, and has changed his name from Hato to Hatoru. It is revealed by Ryo that, shortly after Naruto’s leave, the twins had to go on separate missions due to the lack of shinobi. While Taru was assigned a less dangerous escort mission, Hato was assigned to locate Orochimaru, and both were to leave that morning. Sensing his brother’s fear after leaving Lady Tsunade’s office, Taru came up with a plan to switch missions, as it was hard enough to tell which of them was which.
Despite Hato’s objections, he eventually allows the switch when Taru points out that he is better that ensuring other’s safety than he would be gathering information about the wanted rogue. One disguised as the other, they both went to each other’s missions, separated for one on the first times in their lives. During his escort mission, he comes across his long-lost teammate Yasuko, who was trapped in a cave of vines that had been acting as a support system for her, and brings her back to Konohagakure.
However, while everything goes well for Hato’s escort mission, Taru is killed by Kabuto before he can even get near Orochimaru’s hideout. Because of the deception, Hato is put on a temporary leave despite his brother’s sacrifice.
Post-Shippuden
Hato has been travelling with Reika Satomi, as she cannot fight anymore but needs the protection, though they still return to the village at times.

Her right eye is a defective Sharingan that feeds off her life force instead of chakra, so she has to leech off of other people to maintain her strength whenever she uses her Shargnaign extensively meaning she drinks blood hence her little fangs
She also has fangs because she's the jinchuriki of the 100 tailed lion but the demon was sealed away so well that she can't access its chakra without the original person who sealed it in her
Sarha's great grandfather stole shergingan from Tobi's eyeball lab at the time of Hashirama and madara and was able to preserve them until one became a rinnegan so when Sarah was born they were implanted in her eyes because she was born blind. The sharingan were rejected by her body because of her clan's unique blood types but her uzumaki lineage overpowered it and only the sharingan in her right eye was affected
Even if the eye is defective her uchiha blood sensed she had a sharingan and she can do a perfect susannoo and can kamui more skillfully than Kakashi and even Obito
She;s with the Akatsuki and being a kunoichi she's clever enough to have persuaded all the members not to fite her because one she can kill them with her special powers (but she doesn't tell them this of course) and two she fell in love with Deidara and doesn't want to hurt him Pein accepted her because he thought it was good if the Akatsuki had a backup plan in case something happened to Pein's rinnegna and sarah had one but Madara/toobi would decide better to take Sarah's eye when he needed it, but luckily Deidara found out and helped her a way out ofthe Akatsuki. To this day she is a wanderer, wearing a mask to conceal her identity and to hide her eyes
