The graphic motif Emoji Pattern (2018) wants to be a tribute to the Piedmontese wine culture, reinterpreting it through thirteen stylized symbols of common use that have been reworked in order to acquire further meanings. The thirteen symbols are ideally arranged in a concentric shape, forming a pattern made up of elements that characterise contemporary wine production. With a marked expressive immediacy able to interpret the richness and heterogeneity of the region's heritage and the dynamism of its productive territory, the pattern evokes a contemporary vision associated with the world of social networks, testifying how the Piedmontese tradition is a bearer of values ​​linked to innovation and modernity. The thirteen figures, including a smiley face, a heart, a flower, a mountain, a glass, a hand, a balloon and a bottle, are declined in new graphic variations, that activate new references, in this case linked to potential connections between humans and landscape, in a time when, on the contrary, instant messaging pushes everyday communication to translate a large spectrum of emotions into just a few well-decoded symbols. The symbols also seem to evoke a cascade of confetti able to project visitors into a playful dimension, where the wine culture means entrepreneurial knowledge and love for local products but also fun, passion and joy to share their excellences with the rest of the world.

Il motivo grafico Emoji Pattern (2018) vuole essere un omaggio alla cultura vitivinicola piemontese, riletta attraverso tredici simboli stilizzati di uso comune che sono stati rielaborati al fine di acquisire significati ulteriori. I tredici simboli sono idealmente disposti in forme concentriche, andando a formare un pattern costituito da elementi che caratterizzano la realtà contemporanea della produzione del vino. Con una spiccata immediatezza espressiva in grado di interpretare in chiave simbolica la ricchezza e l’eterogeneità del patrimonio della regione e la dinamicità del territorio produttivo, il pattern evoca una visione contemporanea associata al mondo dei social network, a testimoniare come la tradizione piemontese sia portatrice di valori legati all’innovazione e alla modernità. Le tredici figure, tra cui lo smile, il cuore, il fiore, le montagne, il bicchiere, la mano, il palloncino e la bottiglia, vengono declinati in nuove varianti grafiche, andando ad attivare nuovi riferimenti, in questo caso legati alle potenzialità di connessione della sfera umana e paesaggistica, in un tempo in cui, al contrario, la messaggistica istantanea spinge quotidianamente ad affidare un grande spettro di emozioni a pochi simboli ben decodificati. I simboli sembrano inoltre evocare una cascata di coriandoli capace di proiettare i visitatori in una dimensione giocosa, dove la cultura vitivinicola significa sapienza imprenditoriale e amore per i prodotti del territorio ma anche divertimento, passione e gioia di condividere le proprie eccellenze con il resto del mondo.
