Title: “The Great Emollient Escapade”
INT. SIMPSONS LIVING ROOM - DAY
The scene opens with Homer lounging on the couch, flipping through channels with a remote. Marge enters, holding a bottle of emollient lotion.
MARGE: (cheerfully) Homer, I got this new emollient lotion. It’s supposed to make your skin as smooth as a baby’s bottom!
HOMER: (eyes glued to TV) Marge, my skin is already as smooth as a bowling ball. Why mess with perfection?
Marge rolls her eyes and starts applying the lotion to her arms. Bart and Lisa enter, arguing over a comic book.
BART: (holding comic) I told you, Lisa! Radioactive Man can totally beat up Malibu Stacy!
LISA: (scoffing) Only if Malibu Stacy trips on her own high heels!
Marge, trying to mediate, accidentally squirts a large glob of emollient onto the floor. Homer, oblivious, stands up and steps right into it.
HOMER: (slipping) Whoa! (flails arms) D’oh!
Homer slides across the living room, crashing into the wall. The family rushes over.
MARGE: (concerned) Oh, Homie! Are you okay?
HOMER: (dazed) I think I just invented the Homer Slip-n-Slide.
Bart’s eyes light up with mischief.
BART: (grinning) Cool! Can we try, Mom?
MARGE: (hesitant) I don’t know, Bart. It’s not safe.
Bart and Lisa exchange a mischievous glance. They grab the bottle of emollient and start squirting it all over the living room floor.
LISA: (giggling) It’s science, Mom. We’re testing friction!
Homer, still on the floor, watches as Bart and Lisa take a running start and slide across the room, laughing.
HOMER: (chuckling) Well, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em!
Homer gets up, takes a running start, and slides across the floor, crashing into the couch. Marge shakes her head, trying to suppress a smile.
MARGE: (sighing) I guess it’s a family activity now.
The doorbell rings. Marge opens it to reveal Ned Flanders, holding a pie.
NED: (cheerful) Howdy, neighborinos! I brought over a pie for you all!
Before Marge can warn him, Ned steps inside and slips on the emollient, sliding across the room and landing in a chair.
NED: (dazed but smiling) Well, that was more fun than a barrel of diddly-dos!
The family bursts into laughter as the camera zooms out, showing the chaos of the emollient-covered living room.
BART: (laughing) Best day ever!
The screen fades to black with the sound of laughter echoing.
