Title: “The Misunderstood Meeting”
INT. TGS WRITER’S ROOM - DAY
The TGS team is gathered around the table, papers scattered everywhere. LIZ LEMON, the head writer, is trying to maintain order. JACK DONAGHY, the suave network executive, enters the room with his usual confidence.
JACK: (smiling) Good morning, team. I trust you’re all ready for the big meeting with the network?
LIZ: (nervously) Oh, absolutely, Jack. Just as ready as a cat at a dog show.
TRACY JORDAN, the unpredictable star of TGS, is distractedly reading a newspaper.
TRACY: (interrupting) Did you guys hear about that guy who got stuck in a vending machine last week? How does that even happen?
LIZ: (rolling her eyes) Tracy, focus. We need to talk about the show.
JACK: (chuckling) Well, let’s hope our meeting doesn’t turn into a similar predicament.
JENNA MARONEY, the self-absorbed actress, enters dramatically.
JENNA: (flustered) Liz, I need to talk to you about my character’s arc. I feel like she’s not getting enough… charisma.
LIZ: (confused) Charisma? Jenna, you’re playing a tree in the next sketch.
JENNA: (seriously) Exactly. I want to be the most charismatic tree anyone’s ever seen.
FRANK, the sarcastic writer, chimes in.
FRANK: (deadpan) Maybe you could be a tree that dispenses charisma like a vending machine.
TRACY: (excited) And then someone could get stuck in you!
Everyone laughs, except JENNA, who looks genuinely intrigued by the idea.
JENNA: (thoughtfully) A charisma-dispensing tree… I like it. It’s like the Giving Tree, but for adults.
LIZ: (sighing) Okay, everyone, let’s focus. Jack, what do we need to know for this meeting?
JACK: (seriously) Just remember, the network wants to see innovation. They want to know we’re not stuck in the past.
TRACY: (nodding) Like that guy in the vending machine.
LIZ: (exasperated) Yes, Tracy, exactly like that.
The team bursts into laughter again, and JACK shakes his head with a smile.
JACK: (smirking) Well, if we can bring that kind of energy to the meeting, we might just pull it off.
The team gathers their papers, still chuckling, as they head out of the room, ready to face the network with their unique brand of chaos.
FADE OUT.
