Emotion meme: Doubtful/Conflicted
“The first time I was sent to one of Megatron’s torture rooms, that’s when I decided that I might not want to be a Decepticon anymore while Megatron was the leader. It was a hard decision because, well, I was born a Decepticon, it had been my whole life until that point, but once I saw what he did to others, including his own men... I couldn’t condone that.”
Emotion meme- Crippled
“The first time I lost my wings was... in some ways it was the worst time. I mean, you never know just how much you need something until it is gone. I almost went mad from the fear of being trapped and the pain. It only lasted a few days, but it was... they were some of the worst days of my life.”
Can birds sense when you're sad? My childhood dog passed away yesterday morning and I've been crying non-stop. My bird, who is usually hyper, has calmed down and sits with me instead of nipping my hands and playing with his toys. Can he sense the grief?
I’m very sorry for your loss, I don’t know if there’s been any studies regarding bird/human emotional reactions but birds in themselves do have emotions and react to emotional changes among their flock members very well. Studies have been done on ravens where when one member goes under a lot of stress post-conflict another raven presents consoling behaviours to the distressed raven. In my experience I would say that they do know when something’s wrong with a person, whenever I’m having a rough time my birds will usually react to it and generally present behaviours that attempt to cheer me up. Whether or not that’s just the way I’m interpreting it but it’s not actually happening I don’t know. Birds usually do react to losses very strongly, every member of the household is a member of their flock and when someone passes on it can affect them just as much as it affects you at times. So in my opinion, yes, I do believe parrots can react to and interpret human emotional changes, however, I haven’t found many physical studies on the matter to truly support that.
send me any ask and tell me what emotion you feel towards/ about me. anon or not is fine (:

6. Hatred
-I’m going with extreme hatred for this one (like abhorrence) as Kaos often feels snatches of hatred for people and beings, but is quick to forget about them and move on-
An unspeakable dark aura seems to gather around him, and he wears either a derisive smile or dark glower. When experiencing extreme hatred (or other very powerful emotions) his essence might start to “leak” out from his vessel… he might even do this on purpose if he is trying to unnerve someone. In such a state, his vessel resembles something not quite human, which will most likely fall into a human’s Uncanny Valley. (Or any being human/inexperienced enough to react to such a thing). If he’s doing this subtly, one would feel extreme discomfort but be unable to pinpoint just what about his visage was discomforting. If he’s being dramatic his movement will be labored and disjointed, with the possibility of the other being actually seeing some sort of visual leakage. (The form of which is different for each situation).
He acts with obvious outward aggression, lashing out either in the form of chaotic events, or cruel statements. It’s unlikely that he would become physically violent unless driven to do so, such as retaliation.
Kaos becomes the demon on [unfortunate being’s shoulder]. All of their efforts go awry in fantastically terrible ways, unless there is a way which will specifically ruin said being. If his opponent is human, they will have increasingly explainable, chaotic accidents until they are killed. If they are not, such behavior will continue until Kaos grows bored and moves on.
Basically, if he hates you, there is no low to which he will not sink to try and aggravate/destroy you. (Thankfully he has a short attention span.)
