It's weird to rewatch Star in My Mind.
Like for one thing it feels like a different era of BL just in general?
But also kinda with that, like, I don't know how to fully explain it, but it was during a time ✨Before ✨ - before the Time of Now. The time of pondphuwin, geminifourth, firstkhaotung, jossgawin, juniormark perthsanta- like, before there were SO MANY Ultra Popular Pairings. It was just the era of "we're still playing this by ear and testing out couple's chemistry and what works with fans". And also like Joong being back in a bl for the first time in years and with GMM nonetheless. And with a partner no one has seen in anything before.
It's just interesting. Idk.
Edit: I think what I was trying to get at is that this was one of the shows that happened before the ruling pairings of Right Now even formed or just barely formed. It was actually one of the shows that directly contributed to the current era. Which is crazy.
