emotional protector: a protector who specifically protects the body, host, main, other system members, and/or specific groups of members from things involving emotions. this could include taking emotional abuse, comforting other system members to soften the effects of emotional abuse, holding negative emotions, keeping emotional issues away from other members, etc.

needed this flag for a request! the definition is sort of taken from all over, since i wasn’t able to find one concise prewritten definition, so i hope i didn’t miss anything! the dark greys are from my protector flag and sort of represent a shield, yellow represents positive emotions that emotional protectors may try to inspire, and deep blue represents negative emotions that they take onto themselves.

Isn’t it so validating when you have the feeling that someone’s kind of a bad person and then they show it and everyone realizes? Because that’s one of the best feelings in the world.

It’s just amazing to watch everything finally start to click with everyone else. Of course, it also means that there are sometimes people who defend them with their lives, but then again, a lot of times you have the feelings about those people too. So validated again.
