Prompt: set after Stefan saves Damon from Hell Fire and you turned off your emotions but once you visit his grave for the first time you break down "Y/N, Damon and Elena are here" Caroline says as she steps into your room. Caroline has been by your side 24/7 since Stefan died. Mainly to make sure you don't go all killer vampire but she also wants to make sure you're doing okay even if you flipped the switch. "Oh yay, it's not everyday I get a visit from those two, oh wait, yes it is." You say bitterly getting up from bed. "What do they want?" You ask Caroline. "They want to see if you wanna visit Stefans grave with us" Caroline whispers thinking that you're gonna say no. "Hmmm sure why not" you say nonchalant, Caroline looks surprised. "Wait really? Awesome, I'll... go tell Damon and Elena" She says excitedly and you roll your eyes as she leaves. Truth is you didn't want to go but they won't let you out of their sight until you 'let go' and you didn't want to visit his grave in fear that it'll flip your switch back on. You head downstairs and everyone's waiting for you, "Ready?" Elena asks "Ready to visit my dead boyfriends grave? Why I was born ready." You say sarcastically and you walk out. "This isn't gonna end well" you hear Damon say. *STEFANS GRAVE* You stood there watching as Elena, Caroline, and Damon cried over Stefan, hearing then talk about their memories with him was making you sick. He was your boyfriend, you knew him better than anyone and here they are acting as if they knew everything about him. "Any day now cry babies" You mutter to yourself "How can you be so heartless?" Elena snaps at you, "He was your boyfriend for Gods sake and you aren't even phased by his death." She yells. "Actually I was but you know I flipped the switch" you reply in a monotone voice. Elena, Damon and Caroline just look at you not knowing what to say. "Maybe it's time to head back" Caroline says and those 3 start heading back to the car. "Are you coming?" Damon asks you, you look at him and back at Stefans grave "Yeah give me a minute" you respond. Damon shrugs his shoulders and catches up with Elena and Caroline. You kneel down in front of Stefans grave and touch it. "Oh Stefan" you whimper and fall completely to your knees as you start to cry. Right away you knew that your emotions had been triggered. Never in your life have you felt so much pain and sorrow. "Stefan" you gasp as you try to your breath. You reach out and touch the stone. "Stefan you big freaking idiot" your voice cracks, "how could you? How could you leave me like this Stefan?" You say in agony as all your emotions that you've been denying come flooding back. "Why the hell would you save Damon? Why the hell would you sacrifice yourself Stefan? You said we had forever so why would you leave?" You whimper and hug his grave stone. "What happened to forever Stefan? I never wanted to be human but I was going to take the cure for you! We were gonna grow old together, have a cute family and live out the rest of our lives as humans! Why would you leave me?" You chocked and take a few shaky breaths. "We were gonna see the world together, visit every country and it would just be you and I against the world. I-I can't do this Stefan, p-please come back" your voice cracks when you say the last part. "Please" "You can't be gone" you whisper and lean forward and place a kiss on the head stone. "I love you Stefan Salvatore, always have and I always will" you say and hug the headstone for awhile. You finally start to pull yourself up and try to find your balance as your wobbly legs get use to you standing and you let out another shaky break as you start to walk back to the car. Stefan is leaning against a tree watching you with tear stained cheeks. He walks up to you and grabs your hand and even though you can't feel it, he traces patterns with his thumb. "I'm right here Y/N, I'll always be with you, I love you more" he says in a sad tone even though you can't hear him. You stop and turn towards his grave. He hugs you and says "I love you so much" You reach your friends and they all just stare at you with sorrow and pity in their eyes as the had obviously heard what you just said. You all hug you and you break down again as they start whispering things to you but you didn't bother to listen. All you could hear was the sound of your heart breaking over and over.

And after Rebekah said that, you sped off leaving Rebekah to cry cause she was in fact in love with you but can't admit it, afraid that her enemy's will kill you. ONE WEEK LATER: "Rebekah what in the bloody do you mean you want me to stake you?" Klaus asks his little sister. "Oh Klaus you've staked me before, just make sure you keep it in me." Rebekah says. "Why sister?" Klaus asks not wanting to stake his sister without a reason. "I love her and she's hurting because I won't admit it but I can't admit it cause I'm protecting her from my enemy's" Rebekah admits. You drop the man you killed and head toward to the sound. Then there's a piercing scream that comes from Rebekah as Klaus stakes her. "Get away from her" you yell and rush towards them and shove Klaus across the room. "Rebekah are you okay? Can you hear me?" You ask as you hold her and remove the stake. She doesn't respond and you hold her and cry. "She asked me to do this love" Klaus says as he comes up behind you. "She asked me to kill her so she didn't have to see you in pain" he adds. "I love her" you say and as you say that everything comes back. Killing all those innocent people, making so many mistakes and the realization that Rebekah had just been staked. You break down in tears and hold Rebekah as her body turns grey. "I love you" you repeat over and over. After what seems like forever, Rebekah's color starts coming back and jerks awake. "Y/N how am I here? I asked Klaus to keep the stake in" she says "Why would you do that Rebekah? Why would you leave me again?" You ask "Your emotions are back on" she smiles "It worked" she says in a happy tone. Recalling this event I acknowledge that my like had every right to chose whether or not she wanted to be involved in a conversation. However, no one has the right to be mean. She could have allowed subconscious self to effect my sentence, then stated she was distressed with the conversation and suggested we talk about pillar of society besides. She didn't need to jerk her head away, crunch her nose up in the air, purse her lips and forbid to talk. I wonder if she would own up creature up to do the same thing to her. After this affect, knowing that my sister can act unexpectedly progressive this way, I recognize image an event as an emotional trigger for me. With this knowledge, I'll be better foreseeing to deal with it in a a few positive manner in the gathering. Recognizing emotions is a core competency for building emotional intelligence skills.<\p>
Some Comments What a sad story!
