Also working on a potential all day summer event - bit of work behind the scenes going on with this - all to be announced in due course...

Currently working on a new release of remixes and compilation tracks I’ve made for other people. It’s called ‘Propagate’ and it’ll be available on a rather gorgeous looking CD via Emotion Wave. Daffodils compilation album

Emotion Wave is proud to present Daffodils, a compilation album of experimental electronic artists from Liverpool and beyond.

The album features new and unreleased music from Phono Ghosts, Polypores, Mark Peters, Lo Five, Impulse Array, Afternaut, Melodien, Isocore, Foxen Cyn, Loka, Mark Lawless, Dublock, Jean Michel Noir, Glitchfield Plaines, The Long Rays, Simon Jones Chillout Donk Experience + more.

Emotion Wave is collaborating with Preston-based tape label Concrète, to release a limited edition double cassette tape, which will also be available in digital formats from Saturday 9 December.

All proceeds from the sale and launch of Daffodils will go to Merseyside Domestic Violence Services (MDVS). MDVS, formally known as Chrysalis, supports vulnerable families who are at risk as a result of domestic violence/abuse (DV) especially over the festive season when DV increases and most services are closed.

Jacqui Nasuh, Project Manager at MDVS, commented: “Domestic violence is on the increase in Liverpool and this support from local musicians is invaluable to our charity, as it will enable us to provide additional support to local women and children.”

Few of things coming up... 

First is I’m playing the getintothis monthly social with Emotion Wave alumnus Spirit Level on Thursday 2 Feb at Buyers Club.

Secondly, Emotion Wave 8 is happening on Saturday 25 Feb at 81 Renshaw St. This time around I’m honoured to be hosting Mark Peters - a renowned producer known for his work with Ulrich Schnuass, Helios, Engineers etc. Also on the lineup we have dark industrial rock newcomers God On My Right plus the deep space techno of Impulse Array.

Thirdly, I’m putting on an Emotion Wave stage at the excellent grassroots festival, Threshold. We’ve got the Friday night slot on 31 March, and I’m very happy to announce we have the amazing Loka headlining for us.

So then, exciting times :)
