Soft Soul…
you are so sensitive, and you think that's what's wrong with you… but it's something beautiful about you, it's what makes you so good.

i miss what it feels like to believe in sunrises. to wake up feeling like… today will be good, beautiful things will happen, and nothing will hurt. but the world just keeps breaking my heart again and again and again.

i’ve learned to be gentle with that part of me that takes it in so deeply and holds on to it for far too long, that’s also the part of me that loves like an awakening and knows what it’s like to trace a soul in my fingertips

…a heart that changes shape when something moves you
Say this to yourself as much as you need to hear it…
“Being affected by things is beautiful.”
As overwhelming as it can get… it is beautiful. And your heart may get a little worn out and weary at times, but it grows and expands and makes space for more… more beauty, more love, more compassion, more passion… you are moved, and affected, and changed, and expanded by things, and it's beautiful.

I was I was 21 years & 5 days old when I realized the trees looked so much like us human with skins, with posture, with emotions, with needs.
They're like humans who choose to stay silent, who won't stand up & fight even if their limbs are cut or strangled to get some space for something else to be built because they'll not fight even if they're bleeding. They're happy in their own sad on their own.
On rainy days, they'll lower down their heads & would let the rain wash away all the heat, all the dust. They'll calmly bath in the effect while listening to the gurgling of the clouds as if they're pouring their waters out providing tough love to the earth in return of whatever it goes through.
These trees are like your nature buddies and sometimes a parent for creatures with no home or are aiming to build one.
My father was right when he said whenever he waters the plants after a tough day, the plants would smile & thank him.
They do cry sometimes like an empath would cry for them. It's always so mutual yet no one gets this.
some of us just aren't made for how hard the edges are here, for how slow pain moves, or how lost light can get, and how heavy it all can weigh…
we're surely not made for how flawed humans love.
but while we’re here… we can try to love a little deeper, and burn a little brighter, and maybe, just maybe, we make it a little softer here for someone.
