I find it funny how my influences always seem to be walking down the same stormy path that I’m on. I suppose it makes scientific sense and shit, we look to those whose experiences we can relate on.
Our current currency of attention disconnects genuine human connection. Pay walls and digital tolerance corrupting community. We are so much closer than they want us to believe. You are not a singularity. But you are individually intertwined. Do you not want to watch your ripples shine?
I watch the ripple of insolence. I hate how I contribute to it. With all this pain, it’s hard to be kind. Inspiration and creation bring me joy. Celebrating every small wave that fans the flame of innovation. Waking and hoping to be more benignant.

Too often does your siren sing in my mind
Reality never so sickly sweet
Never who we thought we would be
How one flap of the butterfly’s wings
Turns so little into a tornado
I mourn my wake
The things I created, I hate
Was I always this terrible storm
Or did deceit change me
Serenaded into complicit drowning
