Empire of the Dawn: Book Three (Empire of the Vampire, 3) by Jay Kristoff

Now that I’ve finished this last book (I’ve been fortunate enough to read early copies of all three novels in what is one of my favorite trilogies, I’m going to process for a bit and then listen to these all in a row on audiobook. Wow. Wow. Wow.
Oh, I also know view Jay Kristoff in the same way I view Stephen Moffat = heartless about their fans and characters. I, for one, cried during my reading of this novel.
This is an absolute recommendation (for the entire series) if you were somehow unable to tell.
