“if your mind got the ‘inside out’ treatment, who would be in there?”
tagged by @ronandreams and @femaledemon - this was such an interesting idea!! thanks for tagging me <3 this got incredibly introspective but basically these are the characters i relate to the most and the aspects that i really identify with...
helen norville (the newsreader): my most turbulent side, the struggle with emotions i can’t understand or contain
laurel lance (arrow): my sense of justice; the part of me that feels incredibly disillusioned with a system that i can’t disavow; as well as the part of me that feels like i’m constantly grieving
fuca rongyin (the story of yanxi palace): the side of me that has an incredible respect for the cultural conventions i’m born into yet struggle to perform its expectations; also the part of me that tries to be kind every single day
helena eagan (severance): the part of me that struggles with shame and is disconnected from the other parts of me (unable to communicate/connect with them)
helly r (severance): the part of me that holds very strong beliefs; that is vocal about her needs and acts out in the only ways she knows how
lady jessica (dune): the part of me that struggles to separate myself and my sense of self from the system of thought i’ve been caught in (hopefully that makes sense lol)
mary crawley (downton abbey): the part of me that is constantly negotiating my relationship with the social rules around me; my self-preservation
olivia “altliv” dunham (fringe): the side of me that tries to rationalise and compartmentalise the horror of the slow apocalypse that we live in; but also my sense of humour xD
