For some of my fellow Emperor Lovers who would be interested - here is a beginning of my EmpTav playlist.

It's non exhaustive and more songs my be added as time goes and a songs hit my heart in aching yearning.

Pretty melancholy but also viby, no precise style - between alternative, rock and pop, with a hint of floaty.

As many emotions as my Tav's story under the benevolent gaze of their Guardian and Shield hit me with - or at least, I'm trying to recapture that ♪

Big Emperor song for me.

Big EmpTav song, too.

Waho. Got a hit at 'oh poor Atlas, the world's a beast of a burden, you've been holding up a long time. And all this longing, and the ships are left to rust - that's what the water gave us.'

- but also all the water symbolism and imagery.

'pockets full of stones' resonates as a metaphor for 'pockets full of tadpoles' in my head.

'Lay me down, let the only sound be the overflow'

'Cause they took all your loved ones, and returned them in exchange for you, but would you have it any other way? You wouldn't have it any other way.'

'But my love, don't forget me, when I let the water take me.'

I just cannot GET over this song now.

I am at it again. Making a playlist for my Tav and their relationship with the Emperor.

So, this song fits particularly with my Gith Tav, especially the lines:

"And rescue me from me, and all that i believe. I won't deny the pain, I won't deny the change."

"Too late to turn back now. I'm running out of sound, and I am changing, changing. And if we died right now? This fool you love somehow, is here with you."

And these, for the Emperor:

"Hold me for goodbyes, and whispered lullabies. And tell me I am still the man I'm supposed to be."

My heart is sold, no, I've given it willingly. As I did my mind.

That is, in my personal view and opinion, such an Emperor song, and a Tav song - my half Illithid Gith Tav.
