The arena has been empty for years now. It’s common knowledge that there’s one door that’s unlocked and through it, over time, many have entered to leave their tags and spray paint their artwork on the halls and seats. It is a popular place for couples to go to find some privacy. You and your friends are out on a cool summer night, a bit buzzed. One of them suggests you go to the stadium. You’ve never been inside. The roof is caving in, pieces of it littering the field. Your friend is really good with electronics, and runs off. Minutes later, you’re standing in the center of the field as the music plays over the shitty speakers. You’re filled with rage you’ve never experienced before and an awe for what once was.
