hello! i’m emrys, they/them, and this is my writeblr!

i’ve been writing for as long as i can remember, though i’d fallen out of the hobby for a couple years — i’ve taken it up again during the pandemic, and i’m at a point where i’m ready to seriously commit to the novel ideas that have been floating around in my head for a long time now.

i want to make friends, discuss writing, share advice, and just generally have a good & productive time!! (and ofc share memes, what’s a good writeblr without memes?)

i currently have two wips, both in the research/planning stage: the voice of the city, a high-ish fantasy retelling of robin hood that’s all about the concept of home, and the veil of reality, a weird urban fantasy story about the perils of perfectionism in writing centred on a girl who has the ability to rewrite reality with her voice.

i love cool worldbuilding, unreliable narrators, epic friendships, and, of course, found family.

so yeah! like/reblog for a follow, i wanna get involved with community things and i’m not quite sure where to start!

The great Warrior of Light was, in mere moments, reduced to an embarrassing display of cowardice. Should his own feelings not come second to the feelings of this place, of this world, of this universe?  He sank to his knees, closed his eyes, and waited for the inevitable. Yes, he was a sinner, after all. It was only fitting that a monster that ate sins would be his downfall.  But when E-Nishka next opened his eyes, the beast was slain, and the man in blue and black armor stood before him once more, E-Nishka's staff in hand. The Padjal did not sense a great disturbance to the surroundings, as was usual with White Magic.

Is your character looking forward to anything at the moment?

Emrys: I think he's really super interested in exploring the rest of the world post-EDW. I feel like he'd want to travel as many places as he can and help what he can and share the gift of food and camaraderie with everyone. He's really having fun learning about the Twelve! Him and Raha probably have a wedding or something lined up too...

Elias: If he doesn't get to open up travel to the First and the other Shards permanently he's gonna blow this whole place up he NEEDS Granson to experience the Source also he's finding ferrying 3492934 letters to Y'shtola from Runar a little tiresome now (he will still do it) (he finds them very sweet)
