► Grew up in a small town in Texas, got into university in Olympia, Washington to study the Ecology of the Olympic National Forest. Graduated with mid grades but a lot of field work under her belt Cas is currently trying to figure out a research topic for grad school. ► Got a job a few hours away from Olympia that included a housing opportunity in a little nothing town called Forks. Using her particular knowledge of the local flora and fauna to add clarity to cases due to the increase in large animal sightings and attacks in town aka she's a glorified search engine. Not that she's complaining. ► Her boss, Sheriff Charlie Swan, gave her a pretty sweet deal of taking his daughters old room for basically free along with the job. ► Her boss is kind of cagey about a lot of things including his daughter who Cas is kind of convinced is in some sort of abuse situation considering she's never even seen her in town even though she supposedly lives near by and hasn't seen a photo that wasn't from like 2008. Also weirdly unbothered about the sightings of wolves around town. ► Likes to snoop around cold case files when she's bored. Of which there are a surprising amount for this little town.
