most of the time she goes between feeling extreme anger towards her and feeling extreme fear, when emma’s around she tries to keep her feelings locked down ( mostly bc she’s probs afraid emma’s going to prove her way of thinking wrong ) and is just very cold towards her, she feels like emma is out to get her and that she’s faking the whole Nice Girl act to make maude and the kids trust her again and that if she lets her back into the family she’s going to turn her other children against her, she’s also irrationally angry towards her because she believes she made her husband leave her. every now and again ( probably like once every four months idfk ) she can kind of see through the flaws in her delusions and sees that emma’s just been trying her best but she feels too guilty about everything she’s done to her to ask for forgiveness or help, it doesn’t last very long and usually she manages to re-convince herself that emma is just trying to get under her skin. anyways this was long what.
