omg I spend time around Emma of course I just figured you hadn’t worked out how to tell the time (also you think I’m SMART!!!!) (<3 <3 <3)
i will tell lulu to tell her you said that and then she will probs text you retaliation. you should know that that is the risk of half-heartedly insulting your sister on the internet
or maybe she'll see?? or maybe shes having an essay crisis?? who knows Life is basically the ultimate tumblr lurker.
Very curious about 10 and 11 (for everyone in my social circle, not just you!)
I have actually thought about these a bit so I dont' have to flail for an answer, yay!
10. what are your strengths wrt writing?
I would say that one of my biggest strengths is characterisation for my main characters; I think I'm good at building a complex and interesting protagonist who works on several layers. I also think I'm good at having a distinct style for my writing - although what style that is varies between works.
11. what are your weaknesses wrt writing?
One of my biggest weaknesses is characterising secondary characters - I often invest all the depth into one or two main characters and everyone else in the story is quite shallow. (One thing I like about fanfic is that this is less noticeable because you have canon to fill in the blanks.)
I'm not a very visual person, so my description is sometimes lacking or doesn't really make sense on a literal level (e.g. I often use light/shade for symbollic effect and then forget how this impacts visibility). Also, I'm not a very good editor on a whole plot/thematic level, which means most of my original fic is stranded half-complete.

idk what hair destiny is or why you have it but GO FOR IT for it shall be WONDERFUL!
hair destiny is when a hairstyle is so great you feel it in your bones. some hair destinies are meant for you and some are meant for you to stare longingly at on other people but understand that they aren't meant for you. my current hair destiny is a wavy side-parted short-ish bob in my natural colour, with pastel bits at the front that i can vary in colour easily. but it may change. thats the good thing about look destinies as opposed to life destinies.
(it's probably an art student thing.)

oooooh what colour is it?
this is one of those things people who aren't prepared for a ten minute conversation shouldn't ask me. prepare yourself. (under the cut for those who /arent/)
if you google 'bleach london [dye name]' for any of these you can probably find pictures, and for anyone who cares, they are all available from boots for five pounds.
the first colour I came across by this brand, and probably the first i'd try, was The Big Pink. It's pretty candyfloss, and it fades quickly, but based on images, I like it all the way through the fade (which is pretty important. to me, at least). There's also Awkward Peach which is SUPER CUTE its like everything i'd want from a subtle pastel pink tone. But i'm iffy as to whether it would go with my skin tone. Then we go to purple and there's Bruised Violet, which is pretty dark and intense and basically it would be ideal if i was gonna commit to an all-over dye - but i might not buy it for just my blondey bits. There's also Blulini, which again is really nice and pure and basically all i'd want from a pastel blue. Actually, it's probably the second i'd go for. Then you've got Sea Punk, which is a pale green. I feel like it would go with my colouring, and i want it, but i'm not /there/ yet for a green dye, you know. future hair destiny, but not present. They have a colour called Parma Violets which looks a really nice, grey-purple colour, but they've had some problems and had to recall, so i'm not touching that until i see some more positive reviews.
The best thing about them is that they are cheap, and both wash out real quick, /and/ don't leave your hair in god-awful condition. this means I can buy a couple different colours for not too much, with enough in each bottle to do the blonde parts of my hair, like, five times at least? so i can basically pick and choose and rotate quickly without it being a big, expensive hassle.
The story I've been working on has just finished its third draft and so now is the time to hand it on to beta readers.
Its 9000 words of fairytale-inspired queer-themed medieval fantasy, and I need the feedback within a month i.e. by about February 20th.
Since I'm intending to submit this for publication, I'd rather not send copies to total strangers, so please only get in touch if we're already on email/IM terms.
