I played a bit with my midi keyboard and the Emulator X3, then this happened. I think it's some kind of nineties techno vibe. Going to expand the song to longer and add some other instruments.

Conversion problem
I’m trying to convert from EMU EmulatorX3 format (exb) to Akai MPC-1000 (pgm). Now i tried Extreme Sample Converter which knows that Emulator format and reads it well, but it doesn’t convert to PGM, but AKP which is not readable on MPC 1000. Awave Studio which completely doesn’t supports Emulator format, but I saw it could write PGM. Translator which knows only the Emulator sample format (EBL) instead of the whole EXB (layered instrument) format. Theoretically it can write Akai PGM, but when I start to convert, it writes only translated Akai SND samples from the EBL files. Now I’m completely disappointed, it’s 2013, all of these formats are more than 10 years old, and still doesn’t exists a straight conversion utility for seamless translation. Ok, I know, PGM is really different architecture since it contains only 64 slot for a layer (64 pad can be included) and only JJ OS2 provide a format for “INST” type of programs which theoretically good for create a note-oriented “instrument”. But I could be satidfied for a PGM conversion only with truncating low and high layers to fit into 64 pads. Any suggestions are welcome!
