I’d reaaaally like to see a part two the proposal Drabble invoking web series Ena! It’s following up on her last remark of telling Shepard and shaman—she and the reader go around telling everyone (Moony, Shepherd, Merci, etc. Maybe even the Turrón guy!). The gush and ramble about the other, brag a teensy bit, and invite them to come to their wedding (if they’re doing it in a regular human way.)

Doesn’t have to be anything too long, just smth I’m interested in. I also hope you had happy holidays and enjoyed yourself! :)

1 - Backrooms Labyrinth

"Goddammit! ENA, I'm happy for you, but stay over there, you drunk fuck!!" Merci swore, stomping her foot as pollen balls rolled around on the ground in all directions as she tried to get all of the yellow dust off of her outfit. ENA let out a woozy chuckle at her friend's failed juggling act as you swooped in to try to steady your entity-to-be-wed. Merci shoved her puppet hands forward to continue her rant. "Oi, what are you laughing at!? My colors have allergies now!" You just heard I could use a change of wardrobe, thanks.

You steadied a noodly ENA as you nervously apologized to the mime on her behalf. ENA had gotten a little too celebratory when you accepted her proposal and she ate some kind of edible plushie from a vending machine, and now she was like this. You had no clue when it was going to be over.

Merci huffed fondly, crossing her arms. "Well, she's in your care. Congratulations. Learn to rein her in once in a while, though." Congratulations.

"Huhhhh? Didja hear that, my century egg? Merci's changing the wardrobe, how odd," ENA slurred, attempting and failing to pull your shirt over your head, and briefly flickering into more impulsive, demonic forms with growling voices. "We should follow suit, get your CLOTHES OFF! Let's get WEIRDER! Here, you, you, you dress like ME and I'll look at your WIREMESHES, ehehehe--ACK!"

You quickly wrap ENA up in your arms and drag her somewhere safe from public humiliation to wait out her intoxication timer. She's a touchy drunk, it seems, and you'd rather not have her blue form wail about embarrassing you.

"See you at our crossover!" she slurs over your shoulder, horns flickering out. A half-eaten Weird Teddy falls out of her back pocket. It's for the best; she's wasted enough as is.

2 - Hourglass Fields

"And so, we please ask you to encircle our wedding. PLEAAAAAAAAASE, I know I've bothered you so much, but throw a thing a ring... WAAAAAAA!!!" ENA wailed, slumped forward and swaying back and forth. You rubbed circles on her back, a method proven to reduce sadness lengths.

Shepherd's eye twitched as ENA's volume sent the dogs enigmatically floating away. You hadn't met Shepherd before, but ENA described her rather kindly. This was not the wise Shepherd you were regaled with--she seemed ready to blow a gasket at your fianceentity's antics at any moment.

It seemed a lot of entities found ENA's behavior to be upsetting. You couldn't figure out why, though. Most were more disturbing than her by a mile. And to you? To you, she was outright hypnotizing. Even if she was currently kowtowing and clipping into the floor. You decided to sit, joining her on the ground for a moment before Shepherd began swatting at your legs with a cane. Scratch that, it suddenly seemed very wise to stand up and massage your shin.

"Urgh... And there you go again, intruding in Runas' favorite place. So this sacrilegious brat is the one you've chosen!?" Shepherd grumbled at you, pinching the bridge of her nose, or whatever that was supposed to be. A snout? A mask? You didn't care--you were protectively hugging ENA. (Although, she was pretty unfazed by the outburst.)"And now you want me to encircle your binding. And then what?"

"Whatever do you mean?" ENA's yellow side inquired, rhythmically squeezing your arm to a tune you couldn't quite hear right now.

"You bring enough disorder to this side of the hourglass as is! The world isn't built to handle whatever little pelmeni you two cook up. They will certainly disturb the peace." Shepherd's face scrunched up at just the thought of a swarm of tiny ENAs of different colors running around in the field. Disgusting. You had a different reaction, face heating up as you nervously glanced at the colorful girl in your arms.

ENA's smile was replaced by a surprised pursing of her lips, square pupil rotating as she gazed back at you. "The thought had waded its way to me... But that's for later! We haven't even picked out their colors yet." She contemplated for a moment before brightening, clearly struck by an idea. Shepherd clearly didn't enjoy the look. "Say, chum, it'll be a shame to miss your train to our becoming-one-athon. We're having turron, naturally."

Shepherd's ears flicked up.

3 - Auction Hill

Moony sipped on the straw of some sort of spinning, shimmering tea with little robotic birds flying around inside of it, snuggled cozily in her eye-hole, and regarded everything around her with apathy. You supposed it was fair, considering that this place was rather white and plain compared to a lot of the other areas you'd been to.

At least it had a nice fountain to stand around. Plus, handholding with ENA made any place a little better. You took a moment and tried to force your brain to focus on your surroundings instead of the cool, crystalline contours of ENA's blocky fingers. She made you ill in the best way possible.

"So, ANA, what are we doing here? Did you get a ticket to go to the brook like I wanted to?" Moony asked, expectant.

"Nhoo, I couldn't even do that," ENA said, voice wavering. "It costs an arm and a leg..."

"So? Ditch the weird blue ones." Moony rolled her eyes and took a long sip from her straw. You could never tell if she was being serious or not, so you deferred to ENA's judgement. "Be thankful you have the option, RENA. I wish I had growths I could cut off to weigh less." "I could never do that... Could never... Get rid of this useless decoration hanging off of me. My sweet likes holding it a lot, I can tell." You jumped in to add that you'd prefer if ENA didn't sell pieces of her body to gain admission into places. Moony seemed unimpressed with your apparently controversial take for a moment before hovering forward to actually give you a proper appraisal. "Speaking of growths, uh. What is that hanging off of your arm?" "Whatever do you mean?" ENA sing-songed, gesturing towards you. She brought you a little closer and snaked an arm around your waist. "This is half of the one I'm soon to become! You've been acquainted, have you not?" "...OH. So, this is the charmer you rattle on about all day." "... You've met, Moony." You held back a laugh at ENA's sudden curtness. "I thought it was just some sort of medical thing going on with your arm! I didn't know that was the person of the epoch. So, you--and them?" ENA snuggled up to you a little more. You patted her hair affectionately. "Yes! They affirmed our reservation. Can you believe it? And so I was wondering if you wanted to join in as the honored guest." Moony's eye widened. "Y-yeah, of course! Obviously! I gotta be there before you ascend to your new life with your, er, cement shoe in tow. Eh?" "How wonderful!"

You didn't get along amazingly with all of these colorful characters your girlthing was so excited to invite, but you'd be lying if you said you weren't interested in seeing what would happen to a room filled with all of them. You felt for the edge of ENA's gift in your pocket as she turned to you.

"I'm relieved that we won't be waiting for the ceremony for too much longer..."

hi !! i read the sleep hcs for ENA and then went on a tangent and found the other ENA stuff you wrote sommmm...

what are the reactions of the ENA's friends like Moony, the Shepard, Merci, Phindoll, etc. to ENA actually sleeping for the first time... and ENA + Y/N herself ofc?? <3

Moony

As soon as she discovers you cuddling with a sleeping Ena, she initially believes she's dead.

"Dude..did you just kill my friend in cold blood????"

After you reminded her that she's experiencing sleep for the first time, she goes "ohhhh....okay. But I'm still mad at you for making me freak out like that."

Despite how it looks on the surface, Moony cares for her a lot--even to the point where she threatened you if you ever broke her heart...only to claim she was joking and didn't actually care what happened.

You know she does. She just has an odd way of simultaneously showing and hiding it.

But she'll admit that you've done a better job at handling Ena's emotions than she ever did.

Instead of ignoring them and hoping she'd go back to "normal", you validated her feelings and helped her calm down.

When she turned into her Full-Sadness form, you stayed with her even though it made you both late to the Great Runas' celebration.

As far as you introducing her to the concept of sleep, though? Moony doesn't really mind it too much. Only that it's weird to see Ena quiet and...not doing much of anything.

But it's helped with her mood regulation a lot, so...that's a big plus.

Shepherd

Every now and then, the Guardians were allowed to live out in the overworld, spending their lives how ever they wish until they were summoned for the next celebration.

For Shepherd, her work was never done, as she dwelled in a small conservatory where she could tend to her meadow, where hourglass dogs always found their way to her.

But one evening, she discovers an intruder laying in the middle of everything, and is thoroughly appalled when she recognizes her face.

"Ena? Oh no..not again.."

Not only did the same "troublemaker" barge in here, but she had the nerve to crush her flowers, too???

"Great Runas, give me strength. Show me a reason not to strike down this pest-"

"Shep! I'm so sorry! I was looking everywhere for her!" She hears your voice, and is relieved when you come to the rescue.

As one of the first Guardians you befriended, you would often bring lost hourglass dogs to add to her flock. Even buying them from auctions for the sole purpose of rescuing them.

During one conversation over turron, you mentioned being with Ena, and she almost spits out her drink.

Not that it's any of her business, and she doesn't outright say that you shouldn't be dating any Ena. But...she's confused on why and how you two got together, and still is to this very day.

She just watches you carry your girlfriend in your arms, only now realizing that she had been sleeping the entire time.

"That's odd. I thought her kind didn't require rest."

"Yeah, well..I decided to introduce that idea to her. But I probably should've mentioned that she can't just sleep anywhere." You give her an awkward smile.

"Hmph. When she awakens, tell her that she owes me an apology." Shepherd huffs, holding her crook. "My flowers are very delicate this time of year."

"I promise." You reassure, only to feel Ena snuggle her head against your shoulder to get more comfortable.

Her eyes haven't opened once, yet she sensed your presence instantly.

You smile sweetly, and Shepherd just blinks in astonishment.

Merci

She's just patrolling the Maze as usual, talking to you while you're trying to visit Moony, when she nearly trips over something.

But very quickly, you both realize it's someone.

"What??? Who is.....oh, Ena. Why did she come back???" She lightly nudges her side. "I told her this place was dangerous! Does she not have any brains left???"

"Hey, what did I say about insulting her?" You firmly reminded her. "We're together, remember?"

"....so you can make excuses for her being a hazard??" Merci's not pleased with you trying to defend Ena, but in that moment, she wakes up and is delighted to see you two.

"Merci, my good friend! [Y/n], my sweetheart! I had the most delightful dream!"

"Eh? So you sleep now? When did that happen?" is what the mime tells her.

But the only thing Ena hears is "Eh? So you sleep now? Did you have a good rest?"

"Indeed. Thank you!" Your polygonal girlfriend jumps to her feet. "My apologies. I couldn't find my way around and decided to stay put, knowing you'd come find me eventually." She grins, holding your hands. "Fun fact: did you know it's possible to cry until you're physically exhausted and lose consciousness?"

"Yeah, but...that's not really a fun fact." You shake your head. "Let's go see Moony. We'll catch you later, Merci."

The mime simply nods, although she finds it bizarre how and why you chose to be with Ena.

But she's not gonna question your decision too much. She's got more important things to worry about.

Phindoll

It was a quiet night, when you were cuddling with a drunken Ena who had fallen asleep, her head on your chest.

She had glitched into her "demon" form and for some reason was stuck that way as she passed out, but you didn't mind it at all.

You were just petting her horns, hearing barely-audible purrs emitting from her throat.

Then out of nowhere, your phone rings and you answer, hearing a certain laidback Guardian's voice on the other end.

"Hey, hey, hey!! How's that acutie of yours doin'? Haven't seen her in a minute."

"Oh! Phindoll? Hey...how are you able to call me from the desert?"

"Don't question it, beta buddy."

"True. I should know better. Um...do you mind keeping the volume down a notch? She's sleeping right now."

"Woaaaahhh...her journey to our Great Runas tuckered her out that much, huh?" He sounds amused. "It's understandable."

"Well it's her first time really sleeping. So.."

"No way, bro. That's insane. Is that why her moods get outta whack sometimes???"

"It's possible." You answered, glancing down at your girlfriend, who seemed to be stirring. But the moment you started petting her horns again, she settles down and lies still once more.

Eventually, Phindoll hangs up the phone to give you guys some peace and quiet.

You liked chatting with him, and you liked the fact that he supports you two being together.

And you're especially grateful he didn't put her through the "interview ritual"...which you knew nothing about except for the fact it involved violence.
