Ena is easily deemed a weirdo the moment anyone interacts with them, cause really, they're extremely weird.
Ena speaks very fancily 💥💥💥
They're extremely emotionally numb and disconnected from their own emotions.
Ena can speak Chinese
They rarely sleep due to their insomnia, and they think sleep is a waste of time anyways.
Since Ena is from another universe blot effects em differently.
It's nothing serious, blot just makes em feel numb. They have a barrier spell that prevents liquids from touching em so the blot ain't that troublesome.
Ena's 'magic pen' is a marionette controller
Ena is extremely good at faking how good their magic is, when in reality their magic is awfully sub-par and the only effective spells they can use are all random 'useless' ones.
Basically they're like Fieren when she goes around collecting random spells. Except Fieren is OP, and Ena's magic is weak.
Ena is kinda a pathological liar, they're so used to lying that after being dumped in twst they forget they no longer need to lie all the time.
Now they just lie out of pure habit
Ena's self preservation skills are so non-existent it's a miracle how they're still alive.
They KNOW how to defend themselves, even if their magic is crap they still know how to deal with someone stronger than them.
They just... Don't care enough to dodge..
It may sound like they're suicidal. I mean tbh they are- But they'd never off themselves. They see too much value in human life, and never would they ever want one to end.
They're part of Ramshackle dorm (not a yuu btw-), but they mostly spend their time at Diasomnia (Because of Silver)
They mainly tag along with Silver, thinking that his inability to stay awake for long is a shame as half his life is spent wasting away sleeping.
So they took it upon themselves to constantly talk to him about everything going on in NRC.
Which means they're constantly lurking around the NRC students or teachers for some tea
Very interested in the whole overblotting fiasco and has been making theories on who's likely to blot next.
Ena.... Technically isn't even an NRC student at this point- Ena doesn't even attend class, half the teachers don't even know Ena exists.
Even if silver's there, Ena ain't showing up. They only do when they've taken an interest in the subject.
Crowley allows it after finding out about Ena, cause he thinks her who's overbloting next theories could come in handy.
Also even if he didn't allow it, it's not like Ena would care, they didn't even listen to half of what he said upon introduction.
Similar to Kalim, they can discern poisoned food cause of how frequently they nearly got themselves poisoned.

Back in their old universe, Ena was born into an important powerful family.
The old universe had a lot of tensions between the magical and non-magical, both sides feared the other, and fear would usually lead to attempts at the destruction of the other.
The non-magical weren't stupid enough to pick a fight they can't win, and in truth the magical people were slowly growing extinct from time.
Magic was an inherited thing, and more and more it seems to fade. Meaning there weren't many strong mages in general.
If a fight did break out. They'd 100% lose. The non-magicals didn't know that, and the other side needed to keep it that way.
But the thing is that knowledge was only had on Ena's family. They were held in high regard as powerful mages, and the magical people often believed that if the world starts burning, they would be the ones who would save their race.
Sadly the family wasn't invincible to the generational weakening of magic. Although most members of the family still had at least decent skills, the youngest, Ena, was a clear sign that their magic was weakening as well.
Ena's magic was horrendous compared to their siblings, and their existence caused panic in the house.
If word ever got out about this, who knows what will happen. So they did the only thing they could think of other than killing the kid.
They raised Ena to be an exceptional liar. Great at faking everything.
They had originally kept Ena completely isolated and hidden away from everyone, but once rumors started spreading they finally let them out to calm the chatter down.
Ena freaked out all their classmates. They were so completely hollowed out by their family, that they acted like a living doll.
They still found intrigue from people, finding them completely fascinating beings.
Ena doesn't consider themselves a human, they consider themself a tool. That way it hurts less. Acting like you're already dead so the knowledge that you're wasting your life away as a puppet doesn't come to haunt you.
They ended up in twst cause of their complete lack of self preservation.

K so some of y'all might notice Ena's clothing resembles the clothes ppl wear during Chinese new year right-??? I hope so. Wanted to draw Chinese clothing-
The shawl scarf thing, is inspired by hanfus 😁 (Tbh I could make it look more like an actual hanfu... The ribbon kinda throws the view off-)
For their hair, one of the bangs are longer than the other, for that I thought it showed that there is something abnormal or odd about them.
I also used a bit of Chinese color meaning when coloring em-
Their main colors are Brown & Yellow, and their outfit consists of Black, White, Green, and Red.
Ok so Brown means misfortune and Yellow is associated with royalty
Black and white are paired together for mourning, and since Ena technically 'died' the moment they were born they are kinda mourning for themelsves.
Green means healing, cause they're currently healing from the years of being a hollow doll, and red means joy, good fortune all that. Meaning Ena is in a better place now.
Ena was inspired off my favorite quote "To disturb the comforted and comfort the disturbed"
Like how Trick is meant to show the 'fakeness' stories tend to have, Ena is more so, finding comfort in the unusual. Like how some stories could be abnormal yet people still find some joy in it.
Ena is someone who I won't consider a very functional human being. They act like one, but I guarantee you, emotionally they're not.
Which leads them to be an abnormal individual in general- yet despite their abnormalities, they're still. 'normal' in their own eyes. They just do things their own way.
What other choice do they have left? They can't do things normally, their upbringing has rendered a human incapable of doing so. So best they can live with it is to cope via strange ways.
In turn, they also help others in their own uniquely off putting ways.
Idk how to describe Ena honestly. It's more so a ifykyk...
