Motivation Poem Book Spell!!!
Hey friendos, this is my latest spellwork I thought I’d post something about my craft for once. This is how I enchanted one of my books to give me motivation.
What you need: - a poem book, or any book! Must be one you’re ok with getting wax on - a sigil for motivation on a small piece of paper (feel free to use the one I made for this project) - 1-3 tea lights depending on the size of your paper - a lighter or matches - pencil or other stick like object - approx 20 mins - thunderstorm (optional) - tweezers (optional) That’s it!
Choosing your book: This spell can be used with any book but I would recommend something that corresponds to your intent. I chose a poem book about flower fairies so that I can use the different flowers to match different intentions! Be creative, but there is no wrong choice ☺️
Step 1: Place the paper with your sigil on the front cover of your book in the middle. Place your candle(s) on or around your sigil and light them.
Step 2: Meditate while you wait for the candles to melt completely. I chose to do this spell during a thunderstorm so I could let its energy soak into the book. Focus on pulling energy from the flames, thunderstorm, and sigil into your book. We’re aiming to use the book as a sort of storage device for energy.
Step 3: When all the candles have melted completely blow them out and pour the wax over your sigil, sealing it on to the book. Be careful not to burn yourself!! I used tweezers to pick up the candles. Wait for the wax to harden completely.
Step 4: Once the wax is hard, using your pencil carve/draw a pentacle into the wax overtop of your sigil. This is to seal the energy into the book.
You’re done! Now whenever you need a motivation boost you can read from your book to draw some energy from it! Sort of a portable battery if you will. Once the wax crumbles away your spell is complete and the energy drained. Alternatively, you can end the spell and release the energy by freeing your sigil from the wax.
