Work day was a bit slow today, and Yuri was running the cash register. With nothing else to do, he had been playing with some of the stock items to pass the time.

When he heard the door bell ring, and someone approaching the cash register, he had his back turned to them while organizing the cups and other things he had preciously been playing with. “What the hel--” Yuri stopped his sentence midway as he turned around to see who the customer was. Normally he wouldn’t care about his lack of manners when dealing with a customer. That was until he saw who it was.

“Estelle?” It was a surprise to see her here. He hadn’t been expecting her to come in here of all places. Though he generally couldn’t be rude to her like he was with the other customers. Estelle was a friend, and had a gentle and kind heart. He couldn’t go tainting her day with his awful behavior. “Didn’t think I’d see you in here. Did you want something?” Okay so maybe it wasn’t the most polite response, but it was casual. He didn’t mean any harm by it.

At Estelle’s touch, Yuri leaned into it more so than resisted or tensed up like he normally did. Her cool touch was soothing compared to how feverishly warm he was feeling. He felt way too hot, and way too sluggish to keep up his usual strong and masked appearance. 

Yuri was in a daze, not acting himself, and it was completely unlike him to be like this. His usual attentiveness was lacking, as he fully didn’t catch what Estelle had said. Something about not doing something? Man, he must of caught this fever from being splashed by those monster earlier. His mind was all hazy and he just wanted something cool.

           “ your highness … please … refrain from speaking before you take in all current situations … I understand it may feel easier to just forgive, but you must think before you do so … ”

      There’s something … like a bittersweet smile.

Elegant fingers over delicate petals; If anyone were to ask how he managed to get into the royal gardens, he would probably just smile. But much to their luck, they are the only two figures present in the castle gardens.

"I had to see for myself; the INSIPID POISON that Pharoh is so sure must be eliminated." And those iridescent eyes come up, draw away from the flowers and to the figure of the child standing a few dozen feet away, clad in gorgeous garb;; and Elucifer s m i l e s.

"He is too quick to judge. Forgive him..."

“Promise me, okay?”

Estelle’s words wrung out through his head, remembering her asking him to meet her under Halure’s tree around nightfall the night before. He wasn’t sure what she wanted or why she wanted to see him alone, but he went and agreed to her promise. She insisted that it would be a surprise and that he cannot ask about it. He’ll just have to wait and find out, which was okay with him. Yuri wasn’t really one to pry, but it has got him curious as to why she wanted to see him.

“I’m heading out, Repede. See you later, okay?” Repede barked in reply, before curling in on himself as his partner went out. He won’t be too far off. Just under Halure’s tree, but Repede was free to wander if he so decided. Yuri left their room and walked out of the inn, taking the path up to where he was supposed to meet Estelle. Mostly everyone has gone home, or gone to bed, but there were a few people wandering about, and taking a night stroll.

Yuri reaches his destination and stands at the root of the tree. He glances around, but Estelle doesn’t seem to be around just yet. “Huh, she’s not here...” Maybe he was early, or she was running a bit late. “Guess I’ll stick around for a while.” She’d show up eventually. Now all he had to do was wait. He’ll find out what Estelle wanted soon enough.
