15. What kind of inner life do they have — rich and imaginative? Calculating and practical? Full of doubts and fears? Does it find any sort of outlet in their lives?

Honestly, I doubt Threo has a very complex inner life at all. She’s a very outward girl, and it isn’t until her final fate episodes that we really see a kind of thoughtfulness from her. Even then, it’s pretty simple stuff, just basically “What’s the point in being so strong?” She’s actually pretty animalistic in nature before then, which makes sense, given her lack of proper upbringing.

If I had to imagine, a lot of it is probably base instinct stuff like wanting food and fighting lots so she can get stronger. Any kind of deep thinking is probably a pretty foreign concept to her simply because she’s never needed to do it for a long time. She just has a thought, then acts on it.

Here in Isola, I’ve taken Threo’s canon point from the end of her final fate episodes, which would be her ultimate character arc, so I’ve tried to make her at least a little insightful at times. Like, she’s new to this whole “think before you act” type of thing, so it doesn’t always work out.
