I had an art idea and it wouldn’t leave my brain until I drew it, sorry if it’s a little gritty, I drew it on paper first but wanted to add color so I traced over my pencil art and colored it in. I’m actually pretty happy with this even tho it’s a little off. :D

Am I the only one who doesn’t think we need an end update? Outside of maybe adding a few more stone variants to End Stone, the end is kinda not designed to be revisited and resource managed the way the Nether is.

The fact that the portal can’t be moved, the fact you die and lose your inventory if you fall into the void, the fact you respawn at home when you exit, the fact it’s so far away from spawn… it’s just not somewhere people are going to routinely go unless it’s to get elytra and defeat the ender dragon.

Also, I just really like the fact that the end is made up of concentric rings of floating islands that get thinner and thinner the further you go out until they reach a glitched state.

I think this sort of existential eldritch horror of how the end is made up of these rings is just so very… Minecraft. Like, the mystery of this place is what’s fascinating, not that elytra exists. This is the closest thing we have to the far-lands still existing in the game. I don’t want this updated or removed.

Give me a few end stone cut variations on the stone cutter and I’m good.

I can’t get Minecraft Shaders on my devices so I drew my persona looking at the end Sky in my favourite shader.

I definitely could’ve gotten closer to the actual shader, but I don’t often draw backgrounds, let alone planets. I’m happy with it, though!
