WE DID IT! $10,000+ RAISED FOR DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY After 1,225 miles biked, 19 days, 11 shows, 7 states, 5 flat tires, 2 trailers, and biking through the remnants of a hurricane - the tour is complete and we raised a total of $10,069!!! This includes all the raffle/merchandise profits, online contributions, and all my personal profits from the shows. I am in awe of how much we were able to accomplish and am so grateful to everyone who donated, supported the cause, housed and fed me along the way, and came out to the shows.
We all did this together and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Thanks to my incredible Team Spaghetti Arms for being my support system at each show and for making sure I was safe and sound. It's been an honor working with such amazing people who put their hearts into helping people and families affected by Duchenne.
It's grassroots work and volunteers groups like Spaghetti Arms that get us closer to a cure but also help extend the length and quality of life for those with Duchenne and that is real progress. Keep spreading the word and learn more about DMD here: www.parentprojectmd.org and you can still donate here to keep it going www.gofundme.com/spaghettiarms
Thank you to all our amazing sponsors for their donations and support: PRS Guitars, Thule, Equal Vision Records, MerchNow, Stance, Throne Watches, and Boston Scally Co. Thank you to all artists and venues. Thank you to my team and label for being behind me from the start of this crazy idea.
My heart is full and my legs are ready to rest...until next time.
Cheers! Brian & Spaghetti Arms
After 4 incredible years, I will be moving on from producing the Acoustic Basement stage for the Vans Warped Tour in order to focus on my own music, touring, and new projects. I want to thank everyone who has ever supported the stage and tours - you made this all possible. To all the incredibly talented artists that shared the stage with me, it's been an honor and a privilege working with you. To all the hardworking people behind Warped that make it such a special family to me, you've been such an inspiration and I'm thankful for your camaraderie and spirit. Thanks to Kevin Lyman for giving me this career changing opportunity and for believing in my crazy idea. I do not know what the future holds for the stage but hopefully it carries on. Here's to new adventures! First up - a 1,200 mile bike tour to raise money and awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy www.gofundme.com/spaghettiarms #ENDDMD See you on the road! Keep up the good fight. -Brian Photo thanks to: @ashleighbrooke.xo

PRESS RELEASE:
BRIAN MARQUIS ANNOUNCES CHARITY BIKE TOUR RAISING AWARENESS FOR DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY
AUG 12 - This September, indie-folk artist Brian Marquis will head out on a charity bike tour throughout New England to raise awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Marquis will also personally donate all profits made on the tour to the cause.
Marquis shares, "This fall I will be embarking on a tour throughout the northeast, riding a bicycle over 1,200+ miles from city to city playing shows to bring attention to Spaghetti Arms, an organization which aims to raise awareness, fundraise, and support research to end Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - the most common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed in early childhood."
He continues, "I have become close to this organization over the past four years and wanted to find a way to help their cause while changing up the standard way I’ve been touring over the years in order to share music and conversation in a different way."
Marquis has just wrapped up the 2015 Vans Warped Tour, where he performed daily in the Acoustic Basement Tent in support of his new release, I Miss The 90's EP. Prior to the two month run throughout North America, Marquis performed on a string of sold out dates supporting The Dear Hunter and Northern Faces.
The EP features five covers of 90s favorites and follows his debut full-length album (of originals) called Blood & Spirits. Marquis' latest music video for his cover of "Say It Ain't So" from the EP, can be seen HERE now. The song also features guest vocals / appearances by Vinnie Caruana (The Movielife, I Am the Avalanche), Will Noon (fun., Straylight Run) on drums, Julio Tavarez (The Black and The White, As Tall As Lions) on bass, and Doug Grean (Scott Weiland, The Terpsichords) on piano/keyboards.

Spaghetti Arms aims to raise awareness, fundraise, and support research to end Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, the most common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed in early childhood.
I have become close to this organization over the past 4 years and wanted to find a way to help their cause while changing up the standard way I’ve been touring over the years in order to share music and conversation in a different way.
In addition to playing at several music venues in New England, I am looking for friends to open up their houses for house shows during off days while I’m biking.
