The most ambitious thing I've ever painted, I think
I recently went in and started saving all my FEA screenshots on my old blog and I found this as well. I need to make an updated one with triplets (including Easter Henry).
Shoutouts to @gentleralts for the most excellent Endellion sprite, I still have the whole sheet
Here are the rest!
Hi. hello. I made a yellow salad. his name is Endellion, but you can call him En, Endy or Lion. Anything goes with him. He is a hairdresser/foliage dresser?- He loves his job a lot and doesn’t just excel at sylvari foliages he is great with hair or fur. Residential in the Grove or Mabon Market from time to time.
Endellion
Took me ages to settle on a design for her face I was happy with. I eventually got there by writing *Endellion disapproves* in the corner while I was sketching and I am so happy about the fact that this worked. Look at her. She is utterly, gloriously done with everything.
Emblem Endellion is an Emblem bracelet who, along with Emblem Solen, is tucked away into a difficult-to-reach area on that island that sits between Brodia and Firene. The two are in separate bracelets but by location and general energy they go together.
The area has gone untouched because its proximity to both countries makes it a potential point of contention between Brodia and Firene in terms of land, but the area is fairly treacherous and the amount of effort it would take (physical, monetary, and military) to stake claim to the place outweighs its potential usefulness so long as the Nonaggression Pact is in effect. Thusly, the two of them have been stuck there for a while.
When Alear and the others find out that the Corrupted have been seen festering on the island they decide to stop in to try and cull them before they escape onto either country and to see what would make a bunch of the Corrupted wander out onto an island like that to begin with. It is Alcryst who happens upon Endellion’s bracelet first, and while he originally intends to give her to Alear he is shocked when Alear tells him he should bond with her, at least for the duration of the battle. They go on to locate Emblem Solen as well and dispatch the remaining Corrupted. In the aftermath of that, Alear tells Alcryst that he should keep Emblem Endellion after all, which mortifies Alcryst. The Divine Dragon bestowing another Emblem upon Brodia taken from a point of border contention is just asking to start a war! On top of it being Alcryst and thus him being absolutely neurotic about his own worthiness as an Emblem wielder. But conveniently there are two bracelets, so Alear asks if Solen would be willing to go with Alfred in order to keep things balanced. Alfred is hype, Solen is… a little reluctant at first, but willing, especially because he gets egged on by his sister about how charming it is that she was picked up by the gloomiest prince (no offense Alcryst) while Solen ended up with the flowery prince. Alfred’s boundless energy and optimism also remind Solen of Morgan, so he and Alfred bond more quickly than he would have expected them to.
Emblem Endellion is incredibly fond of Alcryst, which frightens him, but he holds out because he doesn’t want to insult the Divine Dragon even if he feels unworthy of being entrusted with an Emblem to personally watch over. He opens up to her a bit when he realizes that he can’t escape her genuine affection anyway. You got this, buddy!
Despite their close connection, Emblem Endy and Emblem Sol are divided into two separate bracelets because they are from two different worlds, even if there is significant overlap and they recognize each other. This as opposed to the twins and “the triplets from hell” as we call them (3Houses lords)
Name: Endellion
Race: Sylvari Affiliation: Dreamer Year of Birth: 1318 AE Occupation: Foliage-/Hairdresser Class: Mesmer (would be probably)
Endy is a simple sylvari who loves making others happy by tending to their foliages/ hair, whatever they have. He learned a lot to satisfy his customers and be able to work with foliages and any kind of hair or fur he is faced with. He loves his job.
For your character solidifying thing, 3 for 3 of your sylvari
Have three random boye~
3. Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their siblings?
Zheag: He considers all the Firstborn as his siblings obviously and has a fairly good relationship with most of them (the living ones that is), except Caithe. He always saw her as a rival and he always tried to beat her. He definitely despises how cold-hearted can she be and he has a gut feeling that tells him to despise her. He liked Riannoc a lot. They got into a hell lot of trouble together. Fun times. He also liked Trahearne, though the two of them had something deeper than brotherhood.
Ghaelahad: He looks up at Thoernen as a big brother and mentor. He also looks up to the Firstborn but he is closer with Thoernen as he was the one mentoring teaching Ghael as a sapling, as Caithe did Thoernen. There isn’t anyone he would despise or anyone else he would see as a sibling, really.
Endellion: He sees every sylvari as his brothers and sisters and often calls them hat as well. This boy has too pure a heart to hate anyone but he is very fond of Veris and Rievan. A pair of interesting twins they are and he feels he needs to protect them, though he himself is only a hairdresser.
