“January Alvarado moves into and grows up in a condominium with a library at its first floor where she was quick to make new friends. What was to appear before her on her first night would open a whole new experience.

Once the door was closed and the lights were off to her room for the night, an intricate design of a tree began to take shape and form a door on the previously blank wall of January’s room. She had seen this design on a framed engraving which decorated a wall of the library below....

January’s curiosity takes the better of her as she ventures through the door and is found with a large cave and a beastly Guardian on the other side. As the years go by and she grows up alongside the stern and silent beast she names Prince that doesn’t seem to grow older, her wonder of what was outside the cave grows. This causes a grave disagreement between the two which sends her in an internal struggle with herself about who she is, her purpose, and her transition into adulthood.

Eventually, Prince allows her to venture past the cave. It was her time to step into the world of Theraun and be met with new challenges, faces, and conflicts long looking to have needed resolving. January lets her intuition, wonder, and curiosity lead her through the land where she aims to learn and solve the problems that came her way. Is this the answer January was searching for in regards to her purpose?”
