LOCATION: ender’s bedroom 

olivia sat on ender's bed, she was on her phone and she was scrolling through hinge, “you’ve gotta tell me where all the cute boys are hiding e”. she’d recently been through a break-up and she’d recently decided to get back out on the scene but dating was tough in roswell, “cause they definitely aren’t here” she sighs. olivia was still getting used to living in a small town, after years of living in a big city, it seemed everything was different here.

LOCATION: out of this world bookstore (pre-storm) 

mattie was at work, it had been a slow day, her shift was almost finished and she was looking forward to going home. she was stood at one of the bookshelves, organising some of the YA novels when she heard the door go. mattie turns around to see ender, shit, wasn’t she soggy’s roomate? this was going to be awkward, she wondered if ender knew about her, what had he told her? had he even mentioned her?

florencia has her nose glued to the bookshelves, looking for books on gardening. being a florist was one thing, but starting your own garden was another. she was going to need the help of some professionals, hence the search in the garden section. “so, how’s your quiz team doing? still undefeated?”

ENDER && SOGGY: one night a week, ender is dedicated to help soggy become a functioning and well-rounded human being. whether this is successful is up for debate, but they spend hours in the kitchen going through each and every recipe in one of ender's many cookbooks. they're still struggling on spaghetti carbonara but, hey, at least they're getting somewhere — one day, she hopes, he'll be able to cook something more than just toast.

YES, ABSOLUTELY!  with good music and slight bickering, ender is doing the lord’s work!!      he wears an apron and a hairnet to really get into it too, and will repeatedly speak in a british accent to imitate gordon ramsey. it’s due to ender that he’s learned how to cook noodles to the perfect tenderness instead of them being either undercooked and hard or overcooked and soggy.   his plan is to have the spaghetti carbonara perfected by the time of her birthday to surprise her.. he’s thankful he has time.

hana had just stepped outside area 51, she'd been having a lot of fun at the foam party but she needed a breather. she leans up against the wall and pulls out a cig from her pocket which was now very damp, “shit” hana mutters.

owen squints his eyes, trying real hard to focus on the figure in front of him. “NO WAY! do my eyes deceive me?” he walks closer, a laugh escaping his lips as he approaches ender. “i guess the rumors are true. she does exist outside of the wild pony.” owen has to admit that he’s a bit surprised she’s shown up to his birthday party. however, he’d seen a number of people he wasn’t sure he’d ever seen before, so maybe she just wandered in and had no clue it was for him. “you better be careful,” he warns. “people might start to think you like me. JUST A LITTLE BIT.”
