The Girl with the Purple Hood
Ianita looked out over her now floating island home. What remained of Ruxomar. What remained of Dagrun, what remained of the memories she shared with her many late sisters. Sparklita ran up to her, and looked at the lass, concerned. 'What's wrong?' The little boy babbled. Ianita was thankful he had some vocabulary. She herself had an extent, but she preferred to be quiet. Ianita continued to look out over the land. She felt an ominous presence. It seemed familiar, but it was also strange, and oozed with void essence. But, as though there were many stars, a singular one shone through the evil blur. It felt like her mother, but...not her mother. The two toddlers ran back to the center, where the ruins of a house were their shelter. Jefry, the son of Syndicate, was sitting around a lit block of netherack, which provided heat and light. Ianita shuddered, as the sky grew darker. Suddenly, they heard a whoosh and thud of something onto their little piece of what once was home. Ianita signaled for the other two to wait, and she walked out to the darkness, holding a little torch. She looked around, holding a stone sword. She looked around, frightened. Was it Mianite, back from the dead? Her mother? Possibly the being that took her mother? A hooded figure slowly approached her. She held her sword up, ready to protect herself. "No further!" She was able to muster. The hooded figure stopped. He had an ashen gray hood, which was ripped at the hem. He reminded her much of the wizard who is now Martha's closest friend, but he didnt have two blood red streaks coming from his eyes, nor did he have red bordering his robes. He unsheathed a threatening looking blade, which was what Ianita recognized; it was the same weapon that Jericho used in the unfortunate massacre of her sisters. He chuckled softly, and was about to swing the blade of death at her, until another hooded figure lunged at him, knocking him aside. Ianita screamed, ushering the two little boys to run to her safety. Ianita watched as the hooded figures wrestled and fought. Ianita and the other two huddled together in fear of being hurt or killed. Suddenly the nice hooded figure picked up the ashen one by the collar, and dragged him to the edge, giving him a kick between the legs, and tossing him back into the void. The nice one had a very vibrant color scheme to her own robes, a beautiful lavender and royal purple, embroidered with a golden, mystical pattern, had brown knee high riding boots, and a black pair of leggings. Ianita, the brave little girl she was, walked over, and said, remembering her manners, "Thank you, purple lady." The woman, not knowing of Ianita's approach, turned swiftly around. Ianita found her extremely exotic. A mane of auburn hair outlined a mostly pale skinned face, but black skin was swiped across her left eye, and splattered across her square jawline. Her eyes were the same as her mother's, but glowed with an enderman light. Her thin lips were a light gray, and her forearms and hands were covered with a dull purple arm gloves, strapped together with a gold ribbon. She was very pretty. The girl smiled, and said, kneeling down, "Your welcome, little one. What are you doing here?" Ianita looked down, and said, "We were left. Don't know where Fifoxx, Speriolez, Martha, or the Smelly Wivid went." She had a hard time saying that. She might've been 3 years old, and had a good vocabulary, she still had a hard time talking. She didn't have much older people to talk to. The Purple hooded girl looked sympathetic. "Oh. No Dec? Nor Champwan? Not even the other Wizards?" She carefully formed. Ianita shook her head. "We won't live here long. Friends and I not good fighters. We come wif you?" Ianita responded. The girl looked up, to see the other two approach her cautiously. The girl chuckled, and smiled. She asked, "What's your name, dove?" Ianita responded, "I Ianita, he Sparklita an' he Jefry. What your name?" The girl smiled. "I go by many names, Ianita. But you can call me North. As of you and your friends leaving with me... I think we can do that. Was that man about to hurt you?" North responded. Ianita nodded. "He had Jericho's bad sword." She said. North looked over to the edge, and squinted. Ianita felt that she had her own personal experience with the bad man, herself. "Well, when I'm around, he won't. I can get a portal to take you away from this bad place. I think Willowwidth Grove could be a good place for you kids." North stood up, and walked over to a barren part of the wall. She held her hand over the brick, and within a few minutes, she summoned a portal, glowing with swirling gold, white and purple designs. The children ran over, and North instructed, "Now, it'll take a few minutes to get there, if we all pile in at once. Ianita can go first, then Sparklita, then Jefry, then me. Okay?" The trio nodded. Ianita then remembered something. "Wait! I be back!" She scampered off, and grabbed a beautiful circlet, that was gold, with a shiny amethyst resting in the middle. She gave it to North, and said, "Thank you again for savin' us." North giggled, and the little girl ran through the portal. After a couple minutes, Sparklita ran through, then, after a final two minutes, Jefry ran through. North looked out into the dark area. She squinted, her eyes glowing furiously. "You stay in the void, Shadows. If I see you again, there will be more than a crotch kick. I'm the only person to actually harm you, and you know it. Stay away... Stay away..." She growled, and spat at the ground. Then she turned to the portal, holding the circlet, and leaped through, after the children.
