HOLY CRAP I THINK I UNDERSTAND THE CARTOON! BENDY WAS SCARED OF THE WORLD HE WAS IN, AND HID BUT MADE HIM EVEN MORE SCARED, but.. then Joey came to reach out to him giving him and boris a chance to escape that world.. and into.. REALITY. That's why he smiled. Sorry for caps :3

((so… that figure at the end might have been Joey then? or some representation of him? makes sense, I’d imagine Bendy would be happy to see his creator assuming this was before things went badly since Bendy probably hates him now.
