Sergei is not dead. I have to keep telling myself that. When the show first started, I was neutral towards Sergei. But throughout this whole episode Sergei fought HARD to protect his family. I like Sergei now. Sergei's head went up just before the Beloks tossed the bomb in the car. Sergei was still alive after the Beloks beat him up. I will not believe Sergei is dead until I see a body. As for the rest of the episode, Elena crying out Sergei's name as the car exploded; my queen. My love, I feel your pain. I hope this show gets renewed, I really do. But so many shows get canceled before they should. Hell, I was shocked The Cleaning Lady was renewed; but that's off topic. Renewed or not, Queen Elena is wonderful, mysterious and gorgeous as fuck

I think I found something I love abut Queen Elena more than her head tilt. Her psychotic smile, the way she slurred her words when the president drugged her. No way she's just going to die in that coffin. She's fought too hard. Is it possible Elena named her daughter Sophia after Sergei's mother? I don't why I just thought of that now but who cares. I missed Julia. I'm still curious about her.
...OK so I can’t tell if what I took from this was actually intended at all, but if it is - ok wow, ‘when killing someone you know your opponent will want to take revenge for, make it look like you killed them in the way that you want them to later try to kill you, because it’s better for your plan than other methods’ is an incredible way to do something.
Unfortunately I can’t tell the difference between ‘Sergei and Owen are doing an ‘as you know’’ bc the show didn’t do a better way to do exposition’ and ‘Owen asking these things is suspicious’.
