twas a great spiderman movie! i have zero energy coming home but it was great to see my kids (they are college aged young adults) back on my screen again ♡

if i may dabble in some of the odyssey controversies, i do find it disheartening that it seems to me a lot of the loud anx wrong critics really seem like they have never read the odyssey. rather maybe their knowledge is some blurry memories from high school english class or uhm ig that one troy movie or whatever. and then they are just using this movie as a proverbial speakerphone to let out racist and transphobic statements. it is sad.

just came home from watching the odyssey. we watched it in XL because we thought that was the closest to watching it in regular format (everything else said like IMAX or 3D and we werent into that) and it was really good! [jennifer coolidge vc] makes me wanna read the odyssey again real bad
