Charlie stared at the blonde who had spoken. The redhead was in the process of walking up to the "person" she believed to be one of the vampires she was hunting. "Uh, I probably won't do that, but thanks for the advice, I guess?" Charlie glanced at the man, and then quickly back at this strange woman. "Who are you, anyways?"

Charlie turned into her driveway, cut the engine and pressed her head into the steering wheel. Shit, she was wiped. That would teach her not to stay up all night – actually, on second thoughts, it probably wouldn’t. Her next level was so close she could taste it. No rest for the gamers. Stepping from the car, the redhead fumbled in her pockets for her keys. A sharp bark by her feet made her flinch, jolting back in shock. What the frack-?!
Incongruously, a dog sat on her doormat, staring up at her with huge puppy-dog eyes as though begging her to let him in. “Hey, boy!” Charlie exclaimed, kneeling to ruffle his ears. “Are you lost? What’s your name?” The dog yapped in excitement and the woman’s searching fingers closed around the pendant on his collar. A number was engraved on the metal, and the hacker whipped out her cell. A female voice answered after a couple of rings. “Howdy, I think I’ve got your dog. He kinda just showed up on my doorstep, so I called his collar-number, and here I am." She paused. It was kinda late, and she wasn't sure what to do in these circumstances. "Do ya wanna come get him? If you're busy, that's cool, I can always look after him till tomorrow.”
Raven eyed the person who was a few feet away from her and said, "Do you need something?" It might have came out a little harsher than expected.
