She isn’t sure how to explain any sort of concept to him without causing confusion, as it seems his head continues to tilt further to the side with every word she says. While she’s not used to people understanding what she says — or even listening for that matter — she’s sure those who hear her speak at least understand what she means and what nicknames are.
"Really? I’m sure other people don’t react so well to being put here…uhm…nevermind."
She rubs her head; she can almost feel a headache coming on. Her day had already been far too complicated but now, here she was, in a foreign dangerous place with a strange being that she couldn’t bring to the understanding of anything she had learned in grade school.
"Dude," She knows he won’t understand the phrase but uses it regardless. "You are pretty freakin’ awesome, but I think Purgatory is a mouthful and a bit derogatory; you deserve an actual name. How about Purg?"
[the concept is slowly reaching out to him, ever so agonisingly slowly, however; it wasn't exactly reaching him and the confusion glinted in his eyes. The humans changed every time he went to Earth so he didn't bother keeping up.]
"I've gotten stabbed before as a result of violent reactions."
[they stung but that was about it.]
"If that's what you wish to call me then I'll just go with it."
[he doesn't need an actual name, he doesn't see why; Purgatory suited him just fine and it's what the others preferred calling him. She probably wouldn't stop pestering him about getting a name and he didn't need a human tailing him about it, might as well humour her.]
