Having to tap the screen to make Mami shoot Kyoko and make Homura shoot Madoka is painful
Connected Hearts
Obtainability: Limited to the “Endless Beginnings” event.
Notes: Thank you to @doppel-drop-distance for taking this screenshot!
Effect: Defense Up [22.5%] / MP Gain Up [7.5%] / Get More MP when Hit by Weak Element [2]
Homura: “There was this door in the Goddess’s realm. Try as I might, I could never get through, no matter what I tried. I have to know what’s behind it! So, I sent someone I, or I guess some would say another version of me, could trust. Sayaka seems to have followed her, though. What secrets are you hiding, Madoka? What could be so important that you’d lock me out of that room?”

Homura’s Fate Weave rained her new Memoria on me so hi, I actually have two maxed-out event Memoria for once in my life
The Price of a Wish
Obtainability: Limited to the “Endless Beginnings” event.
Notes: This is event memoria and should be kept in the case of the event being rerun. Also, thanks to my friend @leafbladie for looking over this review as a form of quality control!
Effect: Negate Evade Chance [70%] / Blast Damage Up [30%] (Self for three turns)
TLDR: This is a decent Blast Damage Up memoria though keep in mind that there are other active memoria that can have a stronger effect. The reason to use this one over those is because this memoria can last for three turns. This memoria is fine for supports and PVE, but not good for Mirrors.
Thoughts: This memoria is most easily compared to “Sworn Promise,” (link to be added) as both are Garden/Flower memoria and both give Negate Evade as an effect. However, much like “Sworn Promise,” “The Price of a Wish” has the same issue with Negate Evade. Namely, that it’s primary use is going to be in PVE as its cooldown is too long to be useful for Mirrors. Therefor, its Negate Evade effect is largely useless, as Evade is rarely encountered in PVE, and can be largely taken care of with status ailment inflicting memoria (such as Magical Halloween Theater). Additionally, unlike “Sworn Promise,” this memoria’s Negate Evade isn’t 100%, only being 70% at max ascended.
So with that in mind, the real reason to this memoria would be its second effect: Blast Damage Up. There are very few memoria in EN that offer such an effect for three turns. Of note, the Blast Damage Up offered here is not very high in the tradeoff for such a long effect-- there are many other active memoria that offer a higher percentage. This includes:
“Unfaltering Conviction” Blast Damage Up [60%] (Self for one turn)
“Christmas Night Magic” Blast Damage Up [50%] (Self for one turn) / Status Ailment Resistance Down [15%] (All foes for one turn)
“Kawaii Collection” Blast Damage Up [45%] (Self for one turn) / Defense Down [45%] (All foes for one turn)
“Two Shadows Approach Silently” Negate Evade / Blast Damage Up [45%] (Self for one turn)
“Fusion!” Blast Damage Up [40%] / Accele MP Up [22.5%] (Self for one turn)
“No Regrets” Blast Damage Up [40%] (Self for one turn)
However, @leafbladie has the following to say:
"The Price of a Wish’s" lower percentage might be preferred if you're worried about hitting the blast cap, and want an effect that will last longer while offering a secondary advantage.
Having this effect for three turns is still good. It goes without saying that this is best equipped on a character who is a blast gorilla, or will at least be reliably able to use three blast disks per turn.
Like said above, this memoria is not good for Mirrors as it’s cooldown is too long, and it doesn’t have enough defensive stats to be a good stat stick.
This memoria should be fine on supports, as long as they have three blast disks.
The Struggle Against Fate
Obtainability: Limited
Notes: This is event memoria for the event “Endless Beginnings,” and should be kept regardless of how useful it is.
Effect: Evade Chance [20%]
TLDR: Text
Thoughts: This memoria can only offer evade chance. Notably, it has the same evade chance as the only other two passive memoria in the game that also give evade chance: 20 percent. However, this memoria is 3 stars and the other two memoria (What’s Right Before My Eyes and A Once Empty World) are both 2 stars.
This means that “The Struggle Against Fate” has the same evade chance, but better stats. So when one of the three memoria to use, consider using this one first (also, remember that passive evade memoria do NOT stack if used on one character). Otherwise the same rules about passive evade memoria apply and I will copy and paste them here:
Before getting into how useful this memoria is, let’s discuss evade for a moment. Evade means to avoid an attack, which is useful, especially when considering the AI in mirrors. If the AI believes that one of your units has died, it will move onto a different character, and tricking the AI can be done through different effects, evade being one of them.
However, evade can be avoided through Negate Evade memoria and more importantly, status ailments. A character affected by a status ailment cannot evade.
Now the following is personal opinion: this memoria isn’t great for PVE. If you’re looking for something to help protect a unit, then you’re better off with a ‘Defense Up’ memoria instead.
As for Mirrors, this memoria is decent. Remember that it still has a small chance of evade at twenty percent, and there are many memoria (and connects) that can counter it. It’s probably best not to rely on this memoria for attacking in mirrors…
But when it comes to your defense team, especially in ranked, this memoria can shine. Ranked Mirrors is different than regular mirrors, and in Ranked, one will want to have as few rounds as possible for a higher score– equipping your team with evades can interfere with that and elongate the fight.
