Alright so I saw one of those penis ads that are all over the porno websites. This one was particularly unique: it said "GET PRINGLE-SIZED" and had a picture of a large penis next to a can of Pringles (c). They appeared to be the same length. That has got to be the dumbest ad I have ever seen.
Nerd rage videos are my favorite thing in the universe.

So! VanConShow was this past weekend!
All in all I would say it was a success:
I got to hang out with my GI, Kami (and her husband, Ameribrian), Lizzie, and FP.
Met some really cool vendors! One girl even gave me a pair of Putter Popple earrings because she was so happy that someone else knows about popples!! I'm sure I'll see them around at other cons.
Found the Galactic Heroes Speeder Bike Chase set that I've been looking for for at least 3 years!! Only $35! That's barely a markup from it's retail price!
When there were people coming by (it was a very slow and small show), I had a good amount of interest which hopefully means at bigger shows I'll do much better!
Between this and my online sales, I made enough money to pay for the hotel room and the table!
I have a TON of new and great ideas about what to make for Rose City as well as how to set up.
The only bad news is that because I was busy vending, I missed the vendor sign up for EverFreeNW!! :( Oh well, it might be for the best as August is going to be super hectic enough anyway without ANOTHER con in there. Plus it gives me more time to prep for Rose City!
So now I have to !!!!!DEEP CLEAN MY APARTMENT!!!!! before getting started on my next wave of merchandise. I REALLY want to work on it, though, so I better get cleaning!! If only I could take a day off for it!
PS. Sorry for the lack of Fatty-chan Friday last week!!! I realize that Tumblr has the ability to save posts and have them post later, but I ended up slammed at work on Thursday and couldn't get to it! This week, I promise!
